Honestly, I think you may still be sick and need more help than we can give you.  We all have off days.  You can't change what you've already done, so watch what you eat the rest of the day.  You'll be fine.

Stop, deep breath and take a walk or do something that will take your mind off of what you did today. Tomorrow is another day and start fresh.

If I got this crazy about junk food I would be the 160 lbs I was wishing to be a year ago.

Deep breath,

Nieto

I'm not exactly sure how fat=useless.  Perhaps that's your first issue - you need to work on having a positive attitude and not beat yourself up for having a few extra calories.  It's not the end of the world, and it doesn't warrant giving up completely, nor does it undo all previous effort.

Try to keep things in perspective and don't blow things waaaaay out of proportion (I mean, more so than you already have)!

We all have days that aren't so great, and eat closer to maintenance or a little over.  Hell, there are days when I eat twice my calorie target, and then some! You can't change what you've done, but you can keep moving forward.  The next meal is a new one, as well as the next day!

Relax.  You're fine.

TWO WORDS...

MARIE CALENDARS

Don't feel too bad!!!! your not alone!!

Ummm... did anyone else catch the part about it being only 390 calories?

Seriously?

If you feel 'useless' after having consumed less than 1/4 your total daily calories then you should really seek help. There are plenty of people you can talk to, and you might want to start with your doctor. Please. Get help. Especially if you're making yourself sick.

390 is very few calories to be freaking about. It's only about 1/10 of the amount of calories that is required to put on a lb. What I mean is that you would need to eat 10 times more, ABOVE AND BEYOND what it requires to maintain your weight to gain even 1 lb. So relax, it's nothing. Even if you feel "gross" from eating fatty foods just eat "cleaner" (and I don't mean fewer calories, I mean better calories) tomorrow. Seriously though, live a little, life is short.

p.s. -- By the way, how old are you, and how many cals are you normally consuming?

My dear, you are dealing with self-image issues that every teenage girl deals with. At 16, 5'3", and 116lbs, I find it hard to believe you are overweight.

I strongly suggest you take some time to get your body fat percentage tested scientifically, something like a Bod-Pod or other method.  You can use that information to reassure yourself that you are not fat.

I bet you are a beautiful 16 year-old young woman.  Take it easy on yourself.

Eat healthy and you'll be fine. ( no more kit-kats lol)

Yes, it's JUST one of those days!  Don't worry about it!  You may not have eaten the healthiest options, but it wasn't a lot of food (in fact, you need some more! especially since you worked out)  Fill the rest of the day with healthy options and don't beat yourself up over it.  You're fine just the way you are, and make sure you get any help that you need if you don't believe that!
