If you go into Tools (i believe), you can plug in your numbers, weight, height, goal and it will tell you how many calories you should consume daily to reach your goal.

I am having a hard time sticking to the calories. I need to eat more dense foods so I feel full longer and don't want to snack.

good luck

I used the calculator, along with a few other online calculators but all are giving such varied results!

I'm wondering if I'd lose by eating 1400-1500 calories a day, then gradually decreasing down to 1200 slowly if need be?

I wouldn't drop below 1400. Maybe you need to eat more often? Find the average calories for your goal and stick with it. That's what I am going. I am trying to stay at 1400 but I always go over but I am working out 3x week. I need to increase my workout time and eat more vegies and lean protein.

Its a struggle for me right now, but I know if I stick with it the weight will come off.

I think I'll stick to 1400 a day and see how I get on, eating a lot of lean protein and not too many carbs... Hopefully with exercise too the weight will start coming off, then if I hit a plateau I'll have to look at maybe decreasing calories.

This CC business isn't as straight forward as it looks when you don't know where to make a start! Lol
You should eat big portions of low calorie foods, like watermelon. I sometimes can eat 1200 cause I'm full already.

there's a way to plug in your weight, height, current weight, goal weight, and what your caloric intake should be daily. if you're getting varying results between 1300-1500 then 1400 should be an ideal goal.

Yeah if u go too low like to 1200 ur body will go into starvation n store fat. The calculators told me 1200 n after talking with my fitness expert she said 1400-1500 and workout
