I can't seem to lose weight with my partner...(HELP)

Well, I've been dating my boyfriend for about 2 years. In that span I've gained 30 pounds, which is VERY depressing. Also I've gone through very stressful times, so that could have taken a large toll as well.

Well, when I say I can't lose weight with him around what I mean is all we ever eat is FASTFOOD, sodas, etc. He's naturally thin and doesn't seem to gain a pound. But for me it's a whole different story. I feel like the reason why we go out to eat a lot is because he was raised like that and also it's more easily accesible. Whereas going to the grocery store and buying healthier/real food is.. well... more time-consuming and expensive (our method is the dollar menu lol).

What I'm asking is if any of you have any advice, what foods to get from the store, mostly cheap, and also some good recipes that have helped you along the way with weightloss. Even some tips! thank you. (:

rice, beans, lentles, chick peas, squash, veg.....you'll save money if you shop smart, buy things on sale/in bulk etc. and just cuz your boyfriend doesn't gain weight does no tmean that he is healthy.  I guess at the end of the day you are going to have to accept responsability for yourself.  If he wants to eat garbage then that's his problem but you don't have to make it an excuse for you to do it too.
