Frankly you are already at a healthy weight. If you are not happy with your body I would suggest some strength training to change your body composition and lose inches instead of losing lbs.

All food has engergy, the calorie, and all food and calories are composed of 3 main macro-nutrients, protein, carbohydrates, and fat.
carbs are the macro-nutriants that the body breaks down into sugars (glucose and fructose). They are in the main macro-nutriant in grains and legumes- Also 100% of what sugar is (sucrose, i.e. half glucose half fructose).
Low carb diets are basically a way to create caloric deficits by eliminating food groups, AND/OR fix some type of insulin resistance/metobolic derangement, or simply put, fix bad hormone response to food created from a diet of processed carbs and high sugar for too long.
If you want to lose a few pounds and eat pretty healthy, just eat lots of meat, fruits and veggies... nothing else... google "Paleo", about as healthy a "low carb" diet as you can get...
