Ok..

I am 44 years old. I have stopped smoking. Been married 22 wonderful years.

But...

I want and need change. I found this website and phone app. Time for change.

I weigh 236 pounds and a 42 waist.

My goal is 180 pounds and 36 (ish) waist.

My kids are grown and I want to be around a long time for grandkids.

Best of luck!! Just have the grandiose over often and I'm sure they will have you up and exercising! :)
This is great news! Huge congratulations on quitting smoking!!!! I have found that exercising and eating better have made such a huge difference in my ability to stay quit! Good for you!

Hell yes!  DO IT.  Don't give up!!

I recently quit smoking too.  7 months.  Let me know if you need a friendly word of advice or support.

If you can quit smoking, losing weight is NO PROBLEM.  It's all in your hands!!

Thanks for all the replies.

I am excited to get started in the morning

Good for you JH!

Wooh! :) That's an awesome decision. Best of wishes!

There's lots of support here, that's for sure. You're in the right place!

Good for you for being strong!!! And GREAT for you for stopping smoking!!!!

So I did some diet planning.

I roughly figured i was eating 2000 calories on some days, but most were closer to 3000. With some even at 4000. NOT good.

Now I have a meal plan, went shopping, and got rid of almost all junk food !!!!

Going to go for 1500 - 1700 calories.
