Gassy and bloated
1 cup of cheerios with half a cup of fat free milk
Whole wheat wrap with chicken
Celery, carrots, and cucumber with fat free ranch dressing
Canteloup Egg sunny side up
Sausage Broccoli,carrots, and cauliflower Salad
Maybe too much fiber all at once?
It could be the broccoli and cauliflower, but I think the real culprit might be a lactose or grain intolarance. Try skipping Cheerios (which suck for your health anyway) With Greek yogurt, which is good for your tummy, or maybe a yummy egg white omlette with tomatos and onions? Egg whites have almost all the protien in the egg, but only about a fourth of the calories as the yolk and no saturated fat and almost no fat either! YUM you can have about 6 of them for the equivilence of having two eggs and their super filling
I would feel that way too if I ate that!
I have found I am lactose intolerant, so the milk in the morning would do me in until mid afternoon...then by the time that subsided, the broccoli and cauliflower would do me in for the rest of the day!
My advice would be to eliminate 1 thing, so skip the milk and cheerios in the morning, replace it with an egg. Do that for 4-7 days, see how you feel at the end of that week. If you improved its likely the milk...if then the next week eliminate the broccoli and cauliflower for a week.
Try substituting your dairy products with non-dairy and see what happens. Milk can irritate my tummy too.
Sometimes you bloat and have gas because your digestion isn't working as well as it should. Depending on the exact problem either an enzyme or probiotic supplement may help. With a probiotic you can get a pill to take once a day. With an enzyme you want to take it before each meal. If you get an enzyme you probably want one with protease, amylase, cellulase, and lipase at least. For probiotics generally the Lactobacillus ones are for the small intestine, and the Bifidobacterium ones help large intestine problems.
