Hey, My name is Tyler I'm 20 years old., I just joined this website, 6 months ago I was 280lbs, I'm 6ft tall , and have 7 inch wrists, so I'm fairly big boy, I used to play football when I was in High school, and ever since then I let my diet go to my head, and I put on the pounds.

I'm happy to say, I'm now 230.5lbs, I didn't do much, I just hit the gym 6-7days a week, Heavy weight lifting and High Intense Cardio, Haven't really changed my diet, but I cut out Soda drinks, and stay away from fried foods as much as possible.

I used to be size 42 in jeans, and XXL In shirts, I'm now a 36 (My jeans fit is still baggy now) and L in shirts.

I decided to join this website, for the last 30lbs of my weight loss, I don't want to go under 200lbs, because it will look akward on my body shape, People don't think I'm 230lbs, They think I'm around 200 as it is, I just hold my weight properly.

I'm at 240lb bench press, and 50lb Curls, so I'm fairly strong, and that makes up for some of the weight..

Anyways, That's me, and I'm hoping to read some of your stories, and a big Hello from Canada

Sounds like you're doing a pretty good job! It's always hard when you stop playing a sport.. You want to continue the same diet but now you're not working it off anymore o_<

I understand what you mean about appearing smaller as well. I've never looked my weight, whenever people guess they always guess about 40lbs lower <.< Flattering but also makes me feel bad since I feel like a liar. At least I won't have to feel bad anymore :)

Thanks for sharing, it's always an inspiration to see another person doing so well. Especially one who seems to have a similar story as me (albeit not a male and not a football player xD). Hopefully I can share my own success story with you soon.
