I've lost my first 10 lbs!!
I'm so friggin' excited that I could just dance around like a fool!
After 6 weeks of counting my calories and trail running/treadmilling 2 weeks in, I've lost my first 10 lbs!! For the past 2 years, I've steadily put on about 30 lbs, and each time I'd try to lose, I'd get 5 lbs in & then give up or let my busy life "distract" me. This time, I really feel I'm going to make my goal and get into the best shape I've ever been in! I've got 47 more to go, so it's still a long-haul, but man does this first 10 lbs gone really have me psyched & motivated!
I rarely say this kinda thing, but ...
YAAAYYYYY ME! WOOHOOOO!! :-)
I second that "YAAAYYYYY"!!!!!!
What a great feeling to know that you have the ability to change your life, work hard, and GET RESULTS! Excellent news, and keep up the good work!
how awesome is that??? WAY TO GO!!!!
That's a great feeling isnt it? Keep up the great work!

Yaaaaay you indeed! You rock!
I'm at 9 lbs down, waiting to hit the big 10, so I feel your excitement. Congratulations. I've done the "lose a few, lose interest" thing before, too, so I'm in a very similar place. Plus, it's summer and I'm a teacher, so between our fabulous weather and not having to work, I'm finding it all rather "easy" (with some occasional glitches). I'm hoping I can hang on and keep things in order when school starts back up and I'll be overwhelmed until Xmas break! :)
Thanks, all of you, for the congrats and support! I love CC ... so many great people all working toward the goal of being healthy and supporting each other along the way. Mucho, mucho thanks, guys!!
I saw this post and just had to reply. CONGRATULATIONS! The first 10 is all you need to really start this journey and know you have what it takes to control your body. This is good news, and I'm really happy for you!
Way to Go!! Congratulations. Keep up the Good Work!
You should WOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO yourself every day!
Congrats on your first 10. That's awesome! And, having small goals like that means that you meet them sooner...and can WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO yourself more often!
Way to go! Good luck on your journey!
