kj vs calories

how do u convert the one into the other? where i live they dont use calories and only put the amount of kj on the box.

you can search on google for conversion of kj into calories..........it should give u a site that will help.................I use it for school measurements like length etc but they should give u something for calories too :)

One Calorie (Cal) has the same energy value as 4.186 kilojoules (kJ)

So if something is 100kj/4.186=23.8891Cal
If something is 100Cal*4.186=418.6Kj
