For the Ladies...

Sorry if this has been posted already but...

Does anyone else feel like the scale is lying to them around that time of the month? Mine tells me that I gained three pounds in less than 2 days! How is that possible? I know women put on weight on or near their periods, but seriously that's a lot of weight that I already lost!!

Does anyone else experience this and if so, how do you deal? Just ignore it? Log it anyway?

It's just water weight.  Log it, but don't worry about it--lots of people will gain or lose a few pounds on a day-to-day basis.  What matters is that you see your weight going down overall over a longer period of time.

It happens to me every month. I start, and i gain 5 pounds, and as soon as it's over, i lose it all again. It's just extra water weight and bloating. I've just stopped weighing myself that week because it's very demotivational and I try not to depress myself, otherwise I just eat my feelings, especially with all the horrible cravings I have.

This always happens I can gain around 4 pounds every time. But I always just ignore it because if I continue to eat how I've been eating before, it'll just go away after a few days :) It's all water weight and bloating :D

Could be worse, I gained 10 pounds after a marathon from water retention.  I then broke the scale because I was like @#$%*#$*@%@!!

But ya I dont weigh myself during that time until after, Usually it's up 2-5 pounds depending on what activities I have been doing and if I've been eating too much sugary foods.
