OK THIS IS CRAZY,,, IM 5'2  IN A SIZE 7-8 MOST BRANDS.... AND 4 DOCTORS CAN'T TELL ME WHATS WRONG,,,I'M 163... ITS GETTING ME SICK... NOW THE ARE DOING A THYROID WORK UP.......

I'm almost 5'3" and when I weighed 145 I was a nine. I have large hips, but about an hour glass figure.

I am now 30 pounds heavier, but my waist measurement is 33 (which I think is odd, considering you said yours is 33 as well). My hips are 40, incase that's what you meant.

5'8" 151 lbs. 46yo

im a 9 (with a bit of  muffin top). 11 without.

well i'm 5'2 and when i was around 145 i wore from a 6-9.

about 148 pounds, 5 foot 2 inches tall.  Wear mostly 8's or 10's, some 12's, one or two pairs of 6's.  Wear a small on top usually (no boobs).  I'm like a happy little elf, can't help it.  Also, my waist is 31 inches, my hips are 41 inches and my thighs are 25 inches each.

I'm 153 and I wear a 10.  I can get into an 8, but it doesn't look good.  Too much of a muffin top.

im 150 5'5 and I wear a size 8

When I weighed 150, I wore 10's and 12's. I think it just depends on your body type and how much in shape a person is.

I'm 5'4", 152.5 (at the moment), and hourglass shaped. I wear an 8 or 10. One of my pairs of 8s is too loose, but I also have 10s that are too tight. Go figure. Right now I am wearing my husband's 32x30s, and they fit fairly nicely too.

I'm 5'9" 150 lbs and where a size 7 sometimes 8.  If these pants are tight I know I am gaining weight.  My goal weight is 140.

The last time I was weighed at the doctor's office (beginning of 2009) I was told I was 152 lbs, but I was still wearing size 2 and 4 (26 and 27). I have never worn a size larger than that, so it was very confusing to me and didn't seem accurate that I could weigh that much. Btw, the jeans I wear are designer, not vanity sized. I'm now almost thirty pounds lighter and still wear the same pants, though I'm leaning toward a 0 - 2. I'm not super tall (<5'8"), so it's really very weird. I had somewhat of a slight muffin top before, but wasn't muscular or anything, so I just don't get it.

Woah, a size 2 is 26 inches!? My size 5/6 jeans are 26 inches, but they were purchased years ago. My 7/8s are 27. Is that weird? Talk about size inflation. I remember when a size 2 was like 24 inches.

Well, the "26" doesn't come from the waist measurement. It comes from the high hip measurement, where the waistband of this denim hits. At least, that's what I always thought... anyway, they definitely aren't equivalent to 6-8 because those would be way too big for me. I am a true apple-type with no butt or hips lol

I weigh 150lbs at 5'4'' and am a size six.

6'0, almost 19 yrs old, 170-174 lbs, and size 10.

...BUT: When I was 153 ish, I was still size 10. o.o;

I'm commenting because well I'm thinking about starting my weight loss i'm just kind of preparing myself because my weight goal is 150-155 and I'm 5'5 1/2'' and I googled like 150 lb jean size and this was one of the links I came across and though it kind of varies on the factors of weight/height/where you carry your weight/body shape and it's looking like varying between 8-12 for most in the 150's and I'm like 234-235 now and where between and 18 or 20 so i'm hoping looking to be around a 9/10 when my goal date and 25th b-day comes along.

-omgseriously,

your calculations should be right on.  I am 5'4'', I started at 215 wearing a size 18.  Now I am 155 and wear a 10.  Of course different brands are sized differently.  I am finding that medium tops and size tens are the norm for me.  I am pear shaped with bigger hips.  I lost my boobs!!

You can do this- just don't give up!  It took about 7 months for me.  Just go one day at a time.  Use this "Free" site to calculate calories.  It is worth it.  Exercise really helped with firming up and toning.  You can still enjoy food just watch portions and choose healthier foods.

Good Luck,

Holly

Can't wait to get where you are and say there lol. I'm definitely going to use this site and interact here as much as I can. I WILL need it. Thanks for the luck. Oh wow I don't wanna lose my boobs...not all of them, I do wear a 44DD though usually so I could use to lose a little of them but yeah not all omg. If I get dow to where you are I still might need a size bigger on shirt because I've always been slightly more top heavy. So if I got down to 150-155 and managed to keep most of my boobs I might need to wear Large shirts instead of mediums.

I'm 5'6" and at my highest I'm 150.  I had my bodyfat measured and it's fairly low since I tend to add muscle quickly.  I'm a solid 6/8 (28 or 29 in jeans). When I weighed 135 a couple of years ago I was still the same size, though could wear 4 in a lot of dresses.

I would say that is really good! When I was a child and was 155 pounds, I was wearing a size 11/12 in L.E.I. brand jeans. I don't know how different junior sizes are compared to misses.

Oh, and I am 5'4.

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
