I'm looking for a small support group where the members are willing to make a commitment to weigh in everyday for at least 2 weeks to keep momentum.
My goal is to lose the winter weight I've gained over the past 4 months but it hasn't been easy.
I started a routine on Monday Feb 21 eating around 1500 calories/day and doing 30mins (cardio/pilates/kettlebell) 3 times this week.
I'm 29 5'6
starting weight: 134
current weight: 130
goal weight: 120

noooooooooooo!! My scales are broken!! This is so annoying! I dont know how I'm going to track my progress. :( Blerg. I can't afford to buy any new ones for a while either. I have a tape measure. Does anyone else do measurements?

It is day two of TTOM. I am hoping a little bit of this is water weight. It sure feels like it.
I weighed myself yesterday and I was up 2.5 lbs. UGH that sure seems like a lot to me! I played floor hockey yesterday and ate well, and worked out on Monday night.I'll hit the gym again tonight and hopefully tmrw am, I will be lighter.
I had gotten back down to 142 which used to be my "normal" weight, and yesterday I was 144.5. I need to stay focused! My goal was to be 140 by the end of March. I'm not sure if I'm going to make it.
Yesterday was officially one week away from the beginning of my period. I have found that I retain water going in to my period, but I'm not really sure exactly how it works because I have never tracked it closely before. I think that it's common to retain water the week before your period, right?
I made myself some delightful lunches for work - an awesome quinoa salad, and I loaded up on fresh fruit. I had the quinoa and a big bowl of strawberries for lunch yesterday. SO delicious!
Ok I'm now 158.8. (SW 166 GW 150) So exited, scale going down!!!

Yay!! I didn't crash diet, just maintained 1700-1900 calories for the last 4 days and lost noticeable water weight and some bulk off my bum.
We should cap this group soon, otherwise its going to turn into a large support group :P haha
I have had a terrible day. Went for a run this morning and then for some reason instead of studying for my test which is tomorow I just pigged out all day. Makes me feel so frustrated. I just seem to eat when I'm stressed. I know I can do this though. Just need to keep focused.
Went and bought some new lingerie the other night though. Bit of a splurge to make myself feel sexy. hehe
And sandy: thats a good idea, might have to go over to my friends house this weekend and weigh myself.

I'm 21 years old.
I am a student but try to walk as much as possible. Also I work out 5-6 times a week. I think I fit into the 'light' to 'moderate' fitness category. I'm aiming to eat about 1,620 calories a day. I'm trying to not restrict myself too much though because I find if I do I tend to binge eat!

I weighed in at 158.0 lost .8 lbs! yey the scale is going down! So far have lost 8 lbs!!! 8 more to go HALF WAY THERE!!!!
Congrats to those who have seen losses...that's excellent! I too am down to 148. :-) That's a .6 lb loss so far this week, and unfortunately that's without any exercise because I have every hour scheduled this week and next as I'm swamped. But that's okay, I'm eating well to combat the reduced exercise and it's paying off. Ahhh how I LOVE to see the scale move down. Crossing my fingers for 147.something by Monday. :-) I'm pretty pleased that I now have lost 15 lbs. total.
Keep it up ladies... slow and steady. :-)

As for me, bleh. I'm still at 148ish, which isn't the worst thing, but it could have been a little better too. I am going to try and eat at a 1800 a day and have short bursts of exercise every day (10-30 minutes) to burn 125 a day for a deficit of 350 daily. ToM is next week so I know the bloating is on its way... I think it's already starting... bleh. But I'm determined to stick to the plan and have a good week. :-)

I can't wait to move back into my place! Which will be this weekend! My boyfriend just bought heaps of gym equipment because he is sick of having to drive all the way to the gym so often. I am really looking forward to being able to work out more frequently. He's getting lots of big lifting things (which I might have a go on... see how I go), but he is getting a bike as well which will be good for my cardio.
Its been another failure of a week for me. We have had friends over from the states which means I haven't been exercising and I have been eating terribly. Plus with all the extra study that I have to do, it hasn't exactly helped my wasit line either.

We are triplets! I'm 30 yrs old, almost 5'6 (167 cm) and 130, aiming for 120-125 for pretty much ever. Actually, my SW a few years ago was 160 so I've come a long way, but these last few are tough as nails.
I'm small-framed, eating about 1400 calories, going to gym 3-4/week. Feeling pretty good on that.
Horrible few days for me, too. Well actually - been just really inconsistent. Today has been wretched. I'm sure I'm around 2k cals already. Sigh. Tmrw is another day... another chance to recommit myself.
Weighing in! So happy I have kept up with exercising. Love calorie counters and this forum that keeps me motivated =)
