I'm looking for a small support group where the members are willing to make a commitment to weigh in everyday for at least 2 weeks to keep momentum.
My goal is to lose the winter weight I've gained over the past 4 months but it hasn't been easy.
I started a routine on Monday Feb 21 eating around 1500 calories/day and doing 30mins (cardio/pilates/kettlebell) 3 times this week.
I'm 29 5'6
starting weight: 134
current weight: 130
goal weight: 120

Ok well I weighed in today at 156.4 Yey! I weighed 166 on 2/2/11 lost 10 lbs!!! But when I joined this group my starting weight was 161 lbs and now as I mentioned I'm at 156.4!!! My measurements are 36-31-43.5 (pear shaped figure)
Just weighing in =) I'm not sure what my exact measurements are i'll have to post those later, but I do know my current weight
4.5 more to my goal! Yes!! The hubby is coming home from Afghanistan in 5 wks for his R&R so hopefully i can reach it by then or at least get closer. Keep me motivated!!!
We really are very similar Bren. I'm 5'7, 35-28-43.5. It's tough being a pear, but it looks like you're doing a great job losing... keep it up!
I've been just sorta maintaining, I'm trying to lose, but going about it very slowly. After this weekend I should be at 147.6. Shooting for about 3/4 of a lb a week lost. :-)

Almost there!!! Hope everyone had a good week. Trying to stay motivated for the weekend it's always the hardest.
I've been MIA lately - been scared to weigh myself! I did weigh myself today, and I'm 143. I started off at around 147ish and was hoping to get to 140. It hasn't happened. I was 142 for aboput 4 years (I was actually heavier when I was in university!) and it's been fluctuating a bit lately.
I still do calorie count - and I do hit about 1700 cals most days, which was supposed to be my target for losing a pound a week. I think I need to rededicate myself to it. I think that I'm just not disciplined enough - I eat a lot of crap, but I'm also very active. Also I wonder if I don't have enough of an incentive... I'm 5.10 so I'm already slim, I just really hate my thighs. They're the widest part of me!
I think I'm going to redouble my efforts this week and see if I can get that number on the scale to move! Then again.. maybe I've been happier lately, with nto weighing myself? Sigh. So much of my body image depends on my mood!
Has anyone reached their goal yet? I'm still working on it getting a lil closer though =)
