Lose 10 pounds in 3 days!
I got this from a friend and I want to give it a try. Tell me what you guys think.
Lose 10 lbs in 3 days!
1st day
Breakfast: Black coffee or tea, ½ grapefruit, 1 slice toast, 2tbs. Peanut butter.
Lunch: ½ cup tuna, 1 slice toast, coffee or tea.
Dinner: 7 slices any type of meat (about 3 ozs). 1 cup of string beans, 1-cup beets, 1sml apple, 1 cup of vanilla ice cream.
2nd day
Breakfast 1 egg, ½ bananas, 1 slice toast, black coffee or tea.
Lunch: 1-cup cottage cheese, 3 saltine crackers.
Dinner: 2 hot dog, 1 cup of broccoli, ½ cup carrots, 1 cup of vanilla ice cream.
3rd Day:
Breakfast: 3 saltine crackers, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 1 sml apple, black coffee or tea.
Lunch: 1 hard boil egg, 1 slice toast.
Dinner: 1 cup tuna, 1 beet, 1cup cauliflower, ½ cantaloupe, ½ cup vanilla ice cream.
This diet works on chemical breakdown and is proven. Do not Vary or substitute any of the above foods. Salt and pepper may be used, no other seasonings, where no quantity is given; there’s no restriction, other than common sense. This diet is to be used 3 days at a time.
In 3 days you will lose 10 lbs. After 3 days of dieting, you can eat a normal food, but do not overdo it. After 4 days of normal eating, start back on your diet. You can lose up to 40 lbs in a month if you stick to it.:

I wouldn't, I just wouldn't. Why put yourself through the pain of attempting to stick to a diet that you know is unhealthy...you know you'll probably go wild with your favorite food the minute you're done and gain most of it back.
If you just cut your calories and get a bit of exercise, you can do 5 lbs in 2 1/2 weeks for most people.

What a wonderful way to ruin your metabolism and cause yo-yo dieting. Starve yourself. Gain it back. Starve yourself. Gain back more. Starve yourself. Gain back even more. I did this for about 30 years. It is not a healthy, sustainable way to lose weight. It's a quick fix with dire consequences ... like getting one of those Payday Loans to pay your credit card bill. It's just NOT worth it.
Count your calories. Eat a balanced diet. Exercise. Know your BMR. THIS is how to lose weight.

seriously though, if this is what ppl are trying now a days, with hot dogs and what not
i think anyone on here could come up with a so-called "diet" and go posting it around the web
day 1- two crackers
day 2- two marshmallows
day 3- two scoops of rocky road icecream
instant-weight-loss-diet-plan! Horrayz! :-D

That sounds pretty good... wanna try it?!?!?!?!
Plus, anything that uses "chemical breakdown" in the same sentance as "proven" sounds pretty bogus.
I dont' remember where I heard about it, but I'm sure its based on science. I'm going to be sooo thin!
In all seriousness, be careful with diets like the one you suggested, it could slow your metabolism and piss you off enough to quit counting/dieting all together.
i am only 13 this will b 2 unhealthy 4 me i need calories i have 2 have a certain amount of carbs and fruit and stuff a day.
i have tried this diet, i was only able to do it unill the second day (including) i got sick from eating cottage cheese with just the crackers, as the tuna fish i felt the cottage cheese the whole day...i was not able to go on cause i felt like throwing up so...i don't know if it works or not, but i'm going back to what i know it worked for sure so far for me :weight watchers :)
OHHH the legendary 3 day diet.
SO pretty much I USED to do this once a month in high school. Obviously wanted the fast results. I would lose about 6 pounds. Go back to eating normally and you GAIN it alllll back.
Not worth it in the long run.. but the chicken and the tuna and the hot dogs and ice cream every night brings back soo many memories.
