losing 10 lbs. Anyone wants to be my weight loss buddy?
Hi Rabeya,
By no means am a nutritionist or very knowledgeable on this subject but my gut tells me that even if you stay within your calorie limit you will lose weight but probably won't obtain the same amount of weight loss as you would if you were eating a more balanced diet. I also think it may affect your bodies ability to repair the muscles or refuel appropriately if you are incorporating any type of regular exercise into your routine.
Hi i would love to join, looking to shed the last 7lbs. I am 28, 5'5 and 147lbs (my lowest adult weight). I know it is going to be difficult to lose and even maintain from here on in, but I think it would be my perfect weight! I am up for weigh in's anytime as I weigh myself everyday anyway. Thanks x
Can I join? I am 47 and initially would like to lose 4 pounds. I know this seems small but it takes me a long time to lose weight. It took me two months on calorie count to lose 5 pounds. I am 5'6 and 144 pounds right now.
Tanner we welcome you to the group but at your height and weight you are already well within your normal weight range. I'm not sure that you would be at a healthy weight if you lost 10 lbs. Maybe you should focus on overall fitness and health rather then weight loss.
For anyone new, we are doing Thursday weigh in's which means tomorrow is the big day! Good luck!
I stayed the same again this week! Didn't even budge an ounce. I really have not had much time for exercise and had a 3 day weekend in Atlantic City full of indulgences so i am still proud that I am not gaining. This coming week my schedule slows down some and i will definitely try to get to the gym 4 or 5 days and i hope to lose a half a pound this week. Slow and steady wins the race!
Hope everyone else did well!!
Not sure if anyone else is still participating in this group but it is Thursday, which means wiegh in day!
I lost just under 1 lb this past week and am satisfied with my progress. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a marathon, not a sprint. In the past i have tried to deprive myself or workout too much too hard and it is impossible not to crash and burn with that approach.
I hope everyone else has not given up and had a good week!
