Losing for the 2nd Time
Hi Everyone
So, I am doing this for the second time. The first time I was successful with weight loss, I dropped 100lbs. But gained 30 back. I am finding the weight just won't budge this time.
Anyone else have that issue? Any advice, words of wisdom, or encouragement?
Maybe I am being a little impatient given my first experience with weight loss.
Cheers CCs
More info would be helpful, age, current stats, cal intake and activity level. Plus, how did you lose the weight the first time? It can make a difference in the amount of lean body mass you have now VS body fat.
I'm with you. Was as heavy as 90 kg/198 lbs, went as far down as 73 kg/160 lbs in early 2009. BMI went from obese to the cusp of overweight to normal range. When I reached that weight, I continued exercising but slowly began to let go of myself nutritionally. Pretty much wiped out whatever weight I've lost and have been working at it for the last 6 months (losing 10 kg/22 lbs in the process).
The second time around doing this, I definitely feel impatience because I know with certainty what's waiting on the other side. The only thing I can say about it is have the patience that you had when you did it the first time around.
