Measurements- let's compare!
I took my measurements for my first time ever today , lol !
Out of curiosity i would like to compare myself to others, just get an idea of where i stand. Since our bodies are all different, it will be easier if we include our height and weight along with the measurements.
Also, had a question as to how often everyone takes their measurements? Once a month, twice a month, etc??
Here we go:
Bust: 38 inches
Waist: 37 inches
Hips: 42 inches
Height: 5ft 10 inches
Weight: 174.4 lbs
Height: 5ft 5inches (med. build)
Weight: 153ish
Bust: 39 in (widest point), 35 in (under bust)
Waist: 31 in (narrowest point)
Hips: 39 in
I measure once a month and weigh myself once a week.
5'3, 201 pounds.
Bust: 43.5
Waist: 35.5
Hips: 44
LOL, when I first started, my hips and bust were the same and my waist was .5" smaller.

So apparently I'm right about where I should be. I just wish I were distributed differently. I have a long torso so I look like a barrel and it makes me appear fatter than I am.

I REALLY want to lose my arm fat. My arms are disproportionately big compared to my other body parts! My body fat is around 20%.I measure once a month, weigh myself every morning.

Whenever I look at other people's measurements, it always confirms what I've always known: I'm a freak of nature, ha.

I think I'm probably the only person in the world who is happy to have bigger hips now. It's such a pain in the you-know-what to go dress shopping, because clothes manufacturers assume that every woman's hip measurement is bigger than her bust measurement. And I'm the opposite, which makes me feel like a total mutant! And if only it was because I had a big chest... that would be awesome. But nope, I'm just a normal 36C/D. Instead it's because of my uber-broad back. My shoulders and back make me look like a linebacker. My dad really WAS a linebacker in college... he couldn't have given those genes to my brother instead of me? I mean really; how inconsiderate. ;P
My ultimate goal weight is 135, and I'm hoping to be a little more proportionate at that weight.... maybe 39-29-39? I'm gonna have to do major butt-strengthening exercises to get there, even more than I'm already doing just to get up to a 38 inch hip measurement. Here's to loads more time doing anaerobic exercises this summer!
