monday weigh-in club
anyone else weigh in on mondays? shall we have a "monday weigh-in club" and report each monday how we're doing? might be a good idea to just reply to this topic each week to keep it all in one place rather than creating new topics each week? then we can all spur each other on!
last time i was trying to lose weight i started off by weighing in every friday, but found that weighing myself on mondays instead actually was an incentive to lay off the binges i'd usually do on a weekend, as the thought of braving the weights immediately after the weekend was enough to scare me from overeating!
so this is the start of my first week, so no loss to report yet, but my starting weight is 72kg / 158.8lbs, and we'll see how i did next week!
8/13: 117.5
8/20: 114
8/27: 114.5 (whops! Maybe I should not have had dessert three nights in a row!)
Today: &nb sp; 152.5lbs
**Was 151.5 lbs on Fri but I had extra sodium and I'm assuming the pound is water weight.
23 lbs lost so far!
Week 1: 7/23 &nb sp; 139
Week 2: 7/30 &nb sp; 141
Week 3: 8/6 &nbs p; &nb sp; 138.5
Week 4: 8/13 &nb sp; 138.5 (-3.5)
Week 5: 8/20 &nb sp; 138.5
Week 6: 8/27 &nb sp; 137.5
***Whoo Hoo....Slowly but surely the lbs are falling! I've lost 4.5 lbs in 6 weeks! 17.5 more to go!
Today: 141.5
I fear I'm on a plateau....:(
August 27: 152.5lbs
Today: &nb sp; 150.5
Still working my way down, have lost 24.5 lbs heading to 132 (definitely) and maybe 125 (i hope).
Just saw this topic and thought I would join in....especially after being bad this weekend or yesterday (my birthday) to be specific. That dang Pizza Hut set me back!

I haven’t been here for a while, I gained more weight. I am 174 hoping to get down to 165 (to start). I will try and keep up with the Monday morning Weigh in again. Maybe some others might start up again too.
