10 pounds per month 35 plus group
Hi all,
I have been struggling with my weight up and down.I am here again for one last time to lose it all. I am looking for buddies to join me and take the challenge. I know it is hard especially so since I just turned 36. But aim for a 10 lb loss for a month from now and we will see how it goes. The healthy weight range is 2 lbs per week. So let.s have a daily weigh in around the same time of the day preferably bedtime weigh in.
My current stats
Height 5 5
Weight 193.6 lbs ( last night)
Goal 2 lbs per week loss until i reach 140 lbs which puts me in a healthy bmi
I am 39, 5'8 and weigh 295. I had a gastric bypass in 1999 and lost 175 pounds. got to 217 and got pregnant got up to 260 and stayed there for 10 years. I want to get down to 146 that is my goal but i will be happy with 160.
A night weigh in? Weird. Tough to see consistent progress with that. How much food and water is in you is going to affect what you see on the scale.
I have been seriously slacking on my exercise but am still continuing to eat well. I need to start exercising seriously again. My husband noticed that my belly looked significantly flatter(still have some cellulite and lose flabby skin though when I bend or sit). I don't know if that is from being pregnant because my daughter is now 2 1/2. When I had my 11 year old it bounced right back along with my weight in less than 6 weeks. But then again I was only 26 and now am 38:-) On a positive note I weighed in at 145 today! So I hope this trend continues.....c'mon ladies we can do this. Summer is coming:-)
Hmindel- what sort of hcg did you take? I know there are quite a few different kinds some with more hcg than others. The kind you can get at Walmart and then the kind that costs 100 dol a bottle. Can you go into more detail about how it worked for you? How much did you lose and how fast? Did you gain it back as soon as you no longer took it? Did you exercise too? What changes did your body go through or what changed with your appearance? Did you look thinner or thinner and toned. Also how fast was the weight loss etc. I have heard so many conflicting stories o would like to hear yours since you had such a good experience with it. Thank you:-)
So today is going to be a rough day! It is my step daughter's 16th birthday and I am making her a pickup truck cake (that is what she will be driving when she gets her license) and I am already dreading what I am going to do when I get the icing all over my fingers. I have already eaten 2 tires (chocolate covered donuts). UGH! I hate special days!
I weighed in today and it wasn't bad considering there was birthday cake in the house.

O.k looks like i lost one lb so far. I am at 192 lbs as of today. Considering a few bad weekends that is ok by me. How is everyones week going?
I felt so good yesterday when I was down to 142,then today, boom, back up to 145. I don't get it, I did 45 minutes of a UFC training video, very hard cardio, my calories were only at 1300 and my sodium intake was actually too low. How can I gain so much in one day? I'm so discouraged!!!
