Why not try telling us a little bit more about your situation?  How much do you want to lose, what is your current weight, what is your current diet like, etc.  That information would be needed to really offer any meaningful advice.

Your going to need to exercise no matter what. I've never heard of anyone losing weight without some exercise. Keep a healthy diet and you should lose some.

Dolphinz21, 2yrs ago I was 405lbs, first thing I did was cut all "whites" out of my diet...that lit the fuse and it has been burning ever since. down 158lbs now. just take one step at a time. one bite at time and so on. if I can do it, anyone can. feeling much better now, and it is no longer a "diet" it has to be a lifestyle to keep it off. I always said losing it was easy, keeping it off is the true task. Good luck!! I wish you well.

well i think its possible to lose weight without excercise, but i certainly recommend excercising anyways.

stArt with your diet, the more fruits vegetables u eat and the less processed food u eat the more energy u will have to do excercise, u will feel so much better just by changing ur diet.

All you need to lose weight is a calorie deficit.  Studies have confirmed that exercise doesn't play much of a role in terms of how much weight someone loses..  Exercise is critical, however, for body composition and general health.

I agree with the recent posts that you can lose weight without exercise. I've lost 20 lbs from having a deficit, no exercise. I'm starting to feel the need to exercise though, so I'm starting in slow.
