We will divide the year by 12 weeks each putting our goals and what we will do when we reach our goal. For anyone interested in doing the BL Challenge with Nymlee and I, she is starting a separate thread.... With the numbers....

Until then... We have made it 1/4 of the TOTAL loss of all team members averaged... 

So, by Weds morning the goal is to lose 1.23% body weight...  This is a TOUGH week since 1 team on the BL lost almost 7%.  It shouldn't be that high in the future...

I am SOOO happy with this week, its been really hard, but adding in strength workouts and lifting has really been the thing that I think made the difference :)

the nicest part is I've lost inches off my body, so thats really been awesome. except my thighs, not sure why.

I started up the biggest loser thread so we'll see how it goes, i'm on losing about 1% for this week :)

Heres to a great weekend, i'm off to go workout! :)

went to a pampered chefs party tonight, ate way too much tasty appetizer and the demo was a brownie. it was delicious, I didn't eat as much as I normally would have, but more than I thought I would. Thats ok, lots of running tomorrow!!

I gained 2 lbs this week. I kinda expected that...

Come to find a few days ago I wasn't eating enough since I get so much exercise. I'm not too discouraged about the weight gain and am confident that this week is going to go much better!

Hello Ladies!!! i did weight in Friday but got busy at work that I didnt log in CC my #'s havent change which its weird if I been exercising more days than usual and im hurting. Well will see Im going to start logging my food more and not cheating. maybe thats the problem :(

Crazy: Thats Great about joining a membership at a gym! So how did it go? I joined like 2 months ago and it has been great i go right after work and I take the classes.

Queen: you are building muscle and muscle weight more, atleast thats what I think its happening to me ;)

abab: So where is the new thread located? I never watch the biggest looser show, when does it come out? time? Im going to record it and watch it when i can. now days I dont have time to watch TV guess its a good thing if im always on the go.

Mirian, it is on Tuesday nights from like 7-9.  It's on one of the local channels, but I don't remember what the call letters are. 

I'm excited! I found a workout friend in the area, which is AWESOME, she lives about two blocks away and we went walking tonight for a little while and then after I ran for 23 mins, without stopping! I'm super excited, i was having a crazy day today and that just shows me that what I've been doing has been starting to work. I feel stronger. had kindof a bingy weekend, but thats ok, i'm back on track.

My friend wants to start the Insanity program tomorrow, It'll be interesting, i'm expecting to be in alot of pain. but it will get better, and i'll get stronger, and it'll be easier the more we do it. :)

Well, I'm back from holiday and definately over did it!  I'm afraid to weigh in.  I'm back at work and in routine as of yesterday - and counting my caleries again.  What is a realistic calorie goal for someone my size?  Our work shifts are going to acccomodate me using the pool downstairs pretty much every day now so I'm hoping to get into a healthy routine.

yay for getting to use the pool everday, go ahead and weigh in! its ok, you went and had fun, and now you can get back into the swing of things, nothing wrong with that. I hope you had an awesome trip!

second time is today. dunno what to expect. i think it will go well. i still have to take two tests for class and finish a writing prompt before I go. school sucks v.v

 

 

I started insanity program with a friend of mine today, we did the fit test and OMGOsh that was tough. but we did it. should be fun tomorrow. I'm probably going to be sore tomorrow, but if the rest of it is anything like the fit test, i WILL be changed by the end of 60 days.

 intresting... im going to look it up never had heard of insanity program. Good Luck You can DO IT!!!!

Insanity is done by the same people who do p90x. I like it because you don't need so much stuff to do it as apposed to P90x. insanity is 60 days, so its a little less time to commit to. when I get through insanity I'll see if I want to get through p90x. we'll see.

Day two of insanity, I feel kindof like a failure, its sooo hard, but then again if it were easy I wouldn't be in this shape. and the people on the video were dying too, so I don't feel so bad. IT WILL GET EASIER.  my protein shake afterwords was delicious. which was weird because usually i'm kinda iffy on it.

What exactly is "Insanity"?  Is it a class or a video or ??????

Its kicking my butt. today was the Cardio recovery day, I was all excited because it was like a break! and the descriptions talked about alot of stretching! OMGOsh my thighs are still burning.

The nice part is I think I've been eating better because I've been working so hard I DO NOT want to ruin it by overeating or eating crap. I've had a hard time getting enough protein in, the protein shake is helping and I've discovered chocolate dusted almonds, they're delicious. and the help me feel full AND they're chocolate.

I'm sore, but a happy camper. Tomorrow is the Cardio circuit and OW, did that one and it hurts, its starts out all nice and you think "oh!, I can do this!" and then suddenly my whole body wants to keel over. and then we have to repeat.

Doesn't that make you want to try it :P

basically they call it insanity because after the first time doing it you think "I must be insane to do this for 60 days"

Hey Ladies,

I know I've been MIA and non-existent for a long time but I'm finally back and in attendance. I've had a hard time coping with the fact that I'm allowed 1600 cal in order to lose weight and because of that, I went up to 198 last week.

This week, I started new and tried to go back to counting calories but I just didn't have the energy, so instead, I watched my portion control very carefully and opted for lower cal things.

I'm doing pretty good so far with some minor slip-ups here and there.

That's not bad considering I was 198 last Friday. Now to keep the trend moving downward and onward.... have a great weekend Ladies..... and good luck on Insanity Nymlee....
