We are looking for people who are SERIOUS about coming to check in, taking the weekly challenges seriously, offering support and asking for it when needed. Weigh-in's will be on Friday. Some of us no longer have 40 LBS left to lose, but because that is where we started and how we initially bonded, we are continuing with that title.

1/2/08 Challenge: Stop beating yourself up over holiday indulgences. Restart one healthy habit from pre holiday 2007 (or before that if necessary!) :)
1/7/08 Challenge: Get to the gym (or your workout equivalent at least 3 times this week. Whatever your workout is - GIVE IT YOUR ALL! :)
1/14/08 Challenge: Fit in an extra serving of fruit or veggies every day this week (which means you will ultimately have to eat the required daily allowance, THEN an extra serving daily)!
1/21/08 Challenge: Log EVERYTHING that you eat on this week - from the biggest thing to the smallest - even bites of something count. It is not necessary to use the log on CC, and estimates are fine. Good luck!
2/4/08 Challenge: Make ONE VERY AMBITIOUS goal for yourself and make small changes to reach it. Let us know what the goal is - maybe others can offer advice/tips on how to help you reach it!
2/18/08 Challenge: Do something good for your body today - it can be anything from making a doctors appointment to check on an ache or pain, to having a mani/pedi/or facial to give your winter skin some relief, or exercising a little longer/harder/faster to get it to fighting stage. It is your call!
3/3/08 Challenge: Try one new exercise on this week. Feel free to alert the group to exercises you enjoyed, or really felt the burn... the goal being to shock your body into giving you a loss. Good luck!

I started counting calories on Oct 15 (slacked off for the past three weeks due to the holidays) and have been lurking around here for a while. But maybe this will keep me coming back more often and keep me more focused.

STill hanging on and fighting the good fight. Increased the exercise by 10 minutes, and started walking uphill.
Saw A WEIGHT IN THE 140'S FOR THE FIRST TIME IN probably 6 or 7 yeas.
I WAS SO HAPPY.....I was a little over that this morning, back to 150, but that's cuz of nature.
It's so weird, it's like I hold steady to my weight for 2 1/2 or 3 weeks and then I drop 2 lbs. I'm happy about it. I didn't even see 151 at all, just straight from 152/153 to 149.
Also added weight training to the regime. Missed you so much diva. I'll go back and catch up on the threads but I wanted to post and set for email notification before I lost the list again :)
I would love some accountability...the more the better! I have about 35 lbs to go...
Ok, as far as the challenge goes...I actually kept up on my habits :) I've logged everyday, and worked out a couple days a week. Guess it helps when my parent's are trying to get healthier too! :) However, I upped my workout starting this past monday, so I am increasing my habits, I guess.

So I have more then 40 to lose but I started this healthy lifestyle on Sept. 24th of 2007 and since that day I have lost 50 pounds! I do not actually count calories I just eat better food then before and I watch my portions! I also exercise to Richard Simmons video's---hey don't laugh they work!

I change my lifestyle in 2006. I lost 50 pounds very quickly but have been on a plateau for a while. I broke my neck in June and am just know being able to exercise again. The inactivity has added a few pounds back. I am just glad to be walking so a few added pounds aren't to discouraging. I need some help getting back on track and busting this lingering plateau.
