New Scale
Hey guys! I seem to have NO luck with scales. I've had two Taylor digital scales that are ridiculously inaccurate. (One said I weighed 20 lbs more than I do and the other said I was 116 lbs! I WISH!!!!! The last one I bought was like $50 (which I know isn't a whole lot, but it is for me, since I'm mostly broke all the time.) I'm thinking of getting an old school scale with the needle. Any suggestions for an accurate and cost effective one? I know this has been discussed before, but it seemed like a lot of people suggested really expensive scales. I just want one that'll last longer than six months! Thanks!! Also, my treadmill is dying and I need a new one. Same deal....I need a cheap, but good one. Any suggestions? I appreciate your help, guys! Thanks!!

The homedics scale I bought from bed&bath is always accurate, I paid $50 but it was worth it.
Anyone else? I know most of you have scales. Any brands that suck, so I can steer clear?
i bought my scale at walmart and i dont know how accurate it is. What i DO know is that i clocked my starting weight on that scale, and I'm still clocking from the same scale. As long as my kitchen scale is accurate, I'm alright :)
PS: My boyfriend told me my scale is pretty accurate, so I trust him.

i have a scale made by Taylor. you can calibrate it easily if you need to. i have set my weights on it before and it reads accurately. speaking of weights i love grabbing weights equal to what i have lost and standing on it, it makes me feel very accomplished when i can simply set them down and see my weight magically transform.
p.s. i think mine was like $20 at meijers.
I am very unimpressed with Taylor. I would weigh in the morning and then step right back on it and lose (or gain) 2 pounds within 30 seconds. I think you're right to steer clear of Taylor Rinzy.
I will be watching this thread to see what suggestions others give. I don't really care if it is totally accurate but it has to at least be consistent.

I bought a health o meter at costco for $40 that also does bodyfat. The scale seems accurate (compared it to two other scales and they were all within 0.2lb range. I don't know about the bodyfat, but it's kind of cool to have. And it has a 4 person history feature that lets you scroll through your weights.
