New user, wondering if I am doing okay.
Hello! I am a a new user, I used to weigh 195 but by myself I managed to bring my weight down to 150. I would like to get down to 140. Upon joining the site I was told by some very kind members that for a boy my age (17) and height (5'6) I wasn't eating enough. I have my activity level set for the one right below the highest one, I forget what it's called. I go to the gym 5-6 times a week, I am usually there for 2 1/2 hours, I do cardio (which I've been logging what the machines tell me) and I also lift weights (which I haven't been logging).
The system is telling me to eat a lot, especially sincw I have been logging my workouts - I couldn't eat that much if I tries, but I am eating mkre than I usually do so I am a little worried that I might gain weight. I am attaching a screenshot of my food log so far today and I would appreciate some input/advice on if it looks like things are going right and how much I should eat. Also, if I have my activity level set correctly :) tThank you :) and so far I am enjoying the CC community , everyone is really helpful and nice.

Your Basal Metabolic Rate BMR is 1,723. That's the amount of calories / nutrition you body need to lie in bed whole day. Don't eat below that. When you exercise your body needs energy. That it can get from body fat but also needs extra nutrition for repair n maintainance. So best would be to eat back part of your exercise burn. Say 150 / 200 for every 500 burnt. The last 10 lbs is the hardest to lose as your body does try to maintain a certain level of body fat. Target to have a deficit of 500 preferably lower say 250 n you should lose body fat gradually.
