New to the forum. Been using calorie count since the begining of the year. Lost 6 lbs but have stalled out over the past 30 days. Been trying to find my "sweet spot" for calories to eat per day. I stumbled across a new simulator from the National Institutes for Diabetes, Digestive, and Kidney disorders from the NIH. Please take a look and tell me what you think. http://bwsimulator.niddk.nih.gov/
Compared to the conventional calculators, it indicates I need to eat more than I think to lose weight.
I think its interesting, but it seemed to assume that I would lose LBM at a pretty fast rate, and hopefully that's not correct. It was fun to play with, but I don't know how they made the simulator, so I can't comment on how accurate it is.
