So Sunday and Monday... I overate plenty. I figured enough to gain 1 pound. So I ate maintainingish Tuesday and Wednesday I ate like I was on a diet (I'm attempting to maintain for now).  Well... today I weighed myself and I'm the exact weight I when I weighed myself Sunday morning (overate all sunday haha) well is it possible to have the occasional overeatting and not gain? Could it have just given my metabolism a kick?

anyone?

of course you can overeat occasionally and not gain weight...i think everyone has done it.  i did it and it broke my plateau, so yeah, it helps your metabolism i think.  that's why everyone talks about "cheat days" and such.

if anything i find i gain water weight if consume too much salt...but eating over my limit (even wayyy over) for a day or two never makes me gain.
yeah i'm thinking thats what happens... I'm usually pretty strict w/ my calories so maybe a little overeating bumped my metabolism! thank goodness! :) a lot of times I just can't get over the fact that my body is not an exact machine w/ set numbers and such!
were you stuck at all?

EDIT: oh wait, i just saw that you were maintaining...nevermind!
