QOD Diet ?

Quote  |  Reply
So I stumbled across yet another diet today, which I haven't heard of at all until now. It's called the QOD Diet, and the basis of it is that instead of eating restricted calories every day, you can eat normally on some days and then eat very little (like 300-400) calories on other days. The theory is that if you eat normally one day, say 2,000 calories, and only 400 calories the next, you come to a total of only 1,200 calories for both days the same way you would with calorie counting. The diet also doesn't promote super fast weight loss or anything, they say it's just 1-1.5 lbs a week.

Has anyone tried this or even heard of it?? Here's a link to their website: http://www.eatqod.com/ Also I can think of plenty of reasons why this diet is probably not so great, and even dangerous? Isn't it sort of like an eating disorder?? Your thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :]

Here's a thread from awhile back that is about the same type of diet. A lot of responses about it.:)
