I just wanna share that I am so hungry today I feel like I wanna eat a horse.  I have allready eaten plenty, making sure it is all healthy and protein packed and I just had a greek yogurt with some granola about 2 hours ago and I feel so hungry still.

All morning I have been feeling shaky and some nausea so I ate fruit and then the yogurt and I still feel like that.  I am stuck at work for the next 5 hours and all I can think about is just sleeping.

I am contemplating getting a tuna or combo sandwich from Subway- but I don't wanna go over on calories... I had my day planned out perfectly but I am so hunnngrrrryyyy.

Thanks for letting me ramble...

Any chance you can slip out for a quick walk?  Sometimes a little exercise helps.

How many cals are you eating?  Protein and fat provied the most satiety to your system.  Maybe try some scrambled eggs w/veggies and avocado for breakfast instead of fruit/yogurt.

jeremy- i walk all day(i work in a doctors office) and really cant leave.

Tina- I had breakfast this morning around 6:30 which consisted of protein.  The fruit and yogurt were in addition to my breakfast... plus greek yogurt is full of yummy protein.  Haha

I broke down and had a half of tuna.  I just feel so off today... maybe my body just needs some extra fuel.  I will see how the rest of my day goes... It's now 1pm and I work until 5 boooooo.  Hahahaha

That happens to me occasionally, and I think that my body sometimes just needs extra calories (maybe from underestimating exercise or calories or something). As long as I've been making healthy food choices, when I'm ravenous I usually just eat a bit more. As long as it's true hunger and not boredom, I think eating a few extra calories is the way to go. Make it a maintenance day (eat as many calories as you burn, without a deficit). As long as it only happens occasionally it won't even noticeably slow your weight loss.

just to add.  If you've been working out for the last 4 or 5 consecutive days (weights/cardio) then it may be your body telling you its time for a break.  Maybe take the weekend off from working out.  I'm feeling pretty blah today too.  Yesterday was suppose to be a rest day but I got bored and went to the gym.  It was crappy workout and I regret going.

If you're hungry, you're hungry. Are you eating enough calories? And why are you skipping lunch?

krissy and jarred- that's what I just kinda think too.  I do work out pretty hard during the week and I am always making sure I get enough calories and fuel to power through my workouts without going under my needs.  So I ate a lil more than usual and besides a walk with the dog no exercise.  Hopefully I will bounce back tomorrow.  I just hate feeling so shaky even after I eat, and I am not hypoglycemic.  I should add that I have a history of migraines and had one for about 2 days this week, so I think my body was still just feeling that.

nebichan- I am not skipping lunch or any meal for that matter.  I was just rambling that I was surprised my body was demanding so much today.  Yes I am eating enough calories.  I average 1500-2000 depending on activity level for that day.

3 DIY Tortilla Tricks
I love Mexican food—tacos with crispy shells, crunchy taco bowls and salty tortilla chips. But I could do without the extra calories, fat and sodium in the salty, often deep-fried tortillas served at many restaurants or the less-than-healthy packaged versions of these foods sold in the supermarket.
