I set a new Personal Best on the treadmill!!!  I walked for 75 minutes at 3.0!!! for me that is a HUGE acheivement!!

Im so glad I did cause I had the most embarrasing moment this morning.  I checked my email and this guy I know emailed a bunch of us to get our birthday info, and he emailed directly from his address book so it had all of the details, (first and last names) and he has me listed as "Fat Kylie."  And that right there is bad enough, but that email probably went to other people!  I was so hurt and mortified!  Im alot of things, im energertic, short, irish, sassy, a bartender, an event planner, a good friend... He could have picked anything else to describe me, but Fat?? thats just mean...

Im trying really hard not to be really hurt.  I look at all my team members and at this challenge and think, "No way.. Im not letting one jerky comment get me down and blow this." 

So onwards and upwards team!  I will be on the treadmill tonight at about 8:30 pm, so if any one wants to "walk with me" while I watch a movie (last night was Ali, the night before was Cyote Ugly... tonght Im thinking some butt-whopping action is needed so Charlie's Angels 2), you are welcome to!!

Kjmadill----  Your positive attitude has truly inspired me today....  I was having a rough crappy day and then I read your response to that jerk's email, and I must thank you.  You inspired me to stay the course today.  I'm so proud of you....  WE CAN DO THIS!

You go, girl!  Don't let the a$$holes get you down.....you can do it! Wow, 75 minutes on the treadmill!  That's an accomplishment.  I'd like to set that jerk straight.  Best thing to do is keep on track.

That was a jerky thing to do, and I can understand completely why you would be upset.  You are very strong to be optimistic about it, I don't think I would be so positive, and I admire you greatly for it!  Way to go!  Those are the type of people that need a serious "attitude adjustment" to use a mom term! ;)

I even got the will power from y;all NOT to gorge at girls night tonight, there was a chocolate fountain and oodles of crap for dipping... I brought my knitting and a bottle of water and kept my hands busy the whole night!!

Wow K, That's a huge accomplishment! I'm so happy for you!

Today I wasn't able to do my normal 30 mins of elliptical this morning - I was just too tired, so I did 15. At least I did some exercise instead of sleeping in! (which was totally temping by the way lol)

So far this month, I have done 195 mins on the elliptical and I've drank 17.5 litres of water.

I have a good feeling that we are going to be posting awesome weight loss results come Friday/Saturday!

Keep up the great work everybody! We can do this!

Hi everyone.  Been trying really hard to stick to portion control and low fat, low salt foods.  It is a week before my monthly friend and i can eat a horse during this time - but i am REALLY trying.  The Djonnaise sounds really good, kad - I am a mayonaise freak and have to be careful there.  I like mustard too.   I haven't written in too much, but hearing about all of your accomplishments is really uplifting and definately helps motivate me! Take Care All and

Hi team!  How is everyone doing?  I actually had a pretty bad day yesterday.  I wouldn't say I binged, but I definitely ate too much.... even if it was all healthy stuff.  I started with a snack and it turned into like 5 snacks.... sheesh.  Oh well it is a new day!  Our first weigh-in is right around the corner!  How is everyone else holding up?
I've been holding up okay. Yesterday was probably the best day I've had this week. That weigh in is drawing near, and I have got to get on the ball for these last few days! I hate running and actually three times this week I jogged .25 of a mile. That's huge for me!! That extra work though has made me a little extra hungry. It's okay because I'm going by the store and grab some fruits so I won't keep hurting myself and resist those temptations. All in all it sounds like everyone is doing pretty great. I know we got this!! Keep up the good work team!!
I got a new yoga DVD and I pop it in before I walk/jog on the treadmill and it has REALLY helped my knees and my back to not be sore after treadmilling for 45-60 minutes!!  Dont know if others will find this, but thought I would share this tip...  I think it has to do with the stretching out and warming up of muscles.  PLUS it counts as another 20 minutes of Calorie burn!!

Hey everybody!  My week has been pretty good- I've actually worked out everyday but Monday since last Thursday and for about an hour or more every time- which is a big deal for me since I usually struggle to get to the gym 3 times a week!  My only problem has been that I love rowing, and I am get blisters on my hands from it!  I think I need to get some gloves for it or something. 

 I've actually been very good all week, which shocks me, because i am one who is prone to "cheat" on diets.  This friday, though, I am having a dinner party that I planned long ago and I cannot subject everyone else to my dieting, so I may slip a little.  Still, I am trying to keep it healthy- having a big salad to start and baking the chicken, and making lots of good veggies like spinach and tomatoes to go with it, and instead of doing a rich chocolately dessert I am going to make strawberry napoleans with fresh strawberries!  I am excited about it, but apprehensive at the same time. 
anniemarie13:  Its one that I got from Walmart that came free with the yoga mat I bought (its green).  The DVD's name escapes me right now... it has an AM session and a PM session.  The AM one is taught by an asian man named Rodney who wears a speedo (not pleasant in the AM so I usually do this yoga with my eyes closed), and a girl who leads the PM session.

tg-->Great work on the dinner party! I love throwing dinner parties!!!  If you havent "cheated" then this is a great way to reward yourself, by allowing your calorie budget to flex a little with Healthy options instead of totally busting it with crap!  Plus you are "saving" your friends lives by baking them a healthy full meal rather then letting them eat crap and clog their arteries... they should thank you ;)

tgbrown - Have a great time at your dinner party - you'll be just fine - you are already preparing yourself and thinking about it now which means you are focused - relax and ENJOY yourself -   We all need to enjoy ourselves in the process - we are in this for life, right team!

I worked out Sat. and Tuesday this week.  My son was sick so I needed to be home so couldn't make it to the gym.  Yesterday i taped a show on Fit TV - does anyone have this channel?  It is AWESOME - i taped a show called cardio blast.  It was hand weight training for 60 minutes (or about 40 minus the commercials!)  I also taped Gilad (I LOVE him) his show is fun to do.    I am going spinning tomorrow a.m. though...

ok....I cheated and weighed myself yesterday morning....DOWN 2.2 lbs, YAHOO!  Hope it stays gone for tomorrow.  Goal for today is to watch my salt intake!  I must say, if my weight is up tomorrow morning, I'm going with yesterday's results.

I find if I post a goal on-line, I tend to keep it more than if I just mouth it silently to myself.  Anyone else have goals for the day?
I defiantely have to watch my salt intake too!! I think thats a big problem for me. 

my daily goal.  hmmmmm....  stay focused and strong and don't eat any junk or chocolate!!!

My goals for today: Drink 4 litres of water and NOT overdo it with the feta cheese at my boyfriend's house tonight :P

my goal for today is to play raquet ball and start useing my 3lb weights. Yesterday was intense, I finnally got to 200 about 4 days ago, (yay me, it's been over a year since i've been at that wieight) but then for the past four days its fluctuatesd between 199 and 203 and it was driving me insane, so yesterday i played raquet ball by myself, jumped rope really fast for 2, 10 min intervals. (dear lord its hard) cleaned the whole house, rearranged my bedroom. Pretty much became super productive because it all burns calories.(I had a little over my calorie intake cus a friend came out and we drank, but its better than starving myself) it finnally paid off though, i woke up this morning and the scale said 198.4, I just hope I don't have to do this continually to lose more.... i'll be really sore.
