Okay so i work out for a hour about 4-5 times a week but i eat really weird. Id eat a loaf of bread in one sitting but only eat the crust? im also like that with biscuits but find myself eating deeper into the biscuits and would finish a whole pack. Iv tried stopping this and im just gaining weight while im trying to lose. Any suggestions on how to stop this?
I don't know how to help this, the only way for it to stop is when someone comes home.
next time you want to do that with bread and biscuts try drinking a glass of water and find something else to do like taking a walk with your camera, going to town to window shop, learning how to do something (like crocheting or a language), something distracting.
Diitto pp.... I just can't buy that stuff. Everyone once in awhile I 'think' I can make a brownies and only eat one...but its just not true, I will eat half the pan! My solution is don't buy it or make it unless its an individual serving, or else I am going to take it to a social event (where I won't be the only one eating them). I pretty much can't buy sweets, ice cream...brownies...chocolate...etc. Or tortilla chips, for some reason those can get me sometimes too!
Another thing to think about, you didn't mention your calorie intake, but I have found the day after an intense run, I am very hungry the whole next day and I have to increase my calorie intake by 200-300 calories inorder to not trigger a lot of overeating the next few days. One day of higher calories seems to be all I need to stop the overeating, from a hard workout. I don't need to eat more the day of the run...but its the following where my appetite seems monsterous.
I agree with not buying the stuff that gives you problems, but if you live with someone else that needs bread than ask them to hide it really well and give it to you as a reward. I do that with my husband and cookies. he hides it and if I go a whole week and lose a pound he gives me a set amount...it works really well
Try brushing your teeth before you eat anything. I find the mint taste pretty much ruins my craving for anything else. Plus your dentist will be thrilled![]()

Funny. I trained a dog to do tricks with that same mindset.
@OP: How much are you eating and what are your stats (age/height and weight/activity level). You might be under eating and your body is retaliating because of that.
Guys, after doing sport eat protein with your carbs (or just protein).
You are tired and your energy/sugar levels are low, so you crave high carbohydrate rich foods (biscuits, bread especially toast, doughnuts etc). Protein rebuilds your body after sport and will stop you feeling hungry and these cravings.
One way is to train/exercise before a proper meal and plan to eat it soon after you have finished. Or drink or eat a protein supplement soon after.Or make your own with egg whites, oats, soy milk and fruit (blend it up, with a little honey mmmm).
Dehydration in some people can confuse them into thinking they are hungry too, so as always drink water before, during and after all sport.
Or just eat the biscuits and smile about it!
