Started ZigZagging (calorie cycling) today

So, I have given myself a 3 week break from calorie counting (yikes!). I had lost 20lbs going from 192.5 to 172-170. I did okay during that time and didn't gain any weight, maybe 1-2lbs.....I did pretty good during the week because my habits are easy to maintain in that environment. Weekends were definitely harder and felt I was recouping all week.

So now I am ready to get started again, I really want that next 10lbs to go and upon the recommendation of several people on this site, I have started calorie cycling. Today was easy and I am looking forward to seeing how my body responds to this new way.

One question, given how life can be unpredictable, especially in the summer....can you switch one day's calorie intake for another? For instance, If I am supposed to have 1583 today and 1824 tomorrow, can I swap them? Just wondering for potential future issues....

I've been zigzagging for a little over 8weeks now, and I swapped my Wed cals for my Sat cals with no problems whatsoever.  How calorie cycling works is that you are taking in the same total cals for the week, but just different amounts each day...so you should be fine!
