Starvation Mode or not?

Quote  |  Reply

164 cm and 72 kg, currently trying to eat 1200 calories a day, averaging 1200-1500 calories. I go to the gym at least three times a week, doing one hour of Newbody, Zumba and Bodypump. One day a week I go to the office, doing regular sorting/filing work.

This is my seventh week of CC, and currently I've gone from 75 to 72. Now I seem to have hit a plateau. I hit 71.8 and it just went back uphill from there.

Am I not eating enough? CC told me to eat 1200 calories if I were to get to my goal weight in July (58 kg, which is probably not very doable in the time frame anymore, but the closer I get, the better!)

I have similar stats as you 5'2" started at 155 pounds currently at 138.8. Lost the weight by eating 1200 calories a day but about three weeks ago hit the dreaded plateau and went back up to 139.4.

So after fighting the "fear" of eating more I took the plunge and went up to 1400-1500 calories starting this past Monday, and today the scale was back at 138.8 So I guess it is working, or I just happened to weigh in on a good daySmile.

You definately have to eat a lot more. I am 166cm and currently 73kg. I exercise 30 - 60mins 6 days a week and i am eating between 1500 - 1800 cals a day and I am still losing :)

I exercise 60 minutes a day.  My calories are 1400-1600 a day, I loose weight very slowly.  I'm good with that because I'm trying to find a diet I can live with for the rest of my life.  If I loose half a pound a week and I'm not irritable, it's heaven. :)

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
