Weight as of 3/31/12: 150
Weight now (4/14/12): 147.5
I'm happy with that. Now I'm 5'7 and I'm not sure whether my goal weight should be 130 or 135? Does anyone have input? I know I should "go and see how I feel" at 135 but I kind of just want to know. If It's 135 I'm halfway there, if it's 130, I have 2.5 pounds to go and then I'm halfway there.....any input!?
I am your height and am 151 today...I felt my best at 132-135, but 140 was fine also.
I was too skinny in the 120's. I have hips bones that are probably a size 6 so I will never be tiny...I am just accepting my size 10 now and will maybe work on a size 8 in the future...
Muscle weight can make you heavier in a thinner package so keep that in mind and don't be too worried about the scale if you are a healthy weight...which you are! Congrats!

I apologize for being MIA for the past few weeks seeing as i created this page. I was just doing so horribly that i did not want to bring anyone else down by complaining. I am happy to say that i have started yoga and am into a solid fitness routine which i love! I have been doing spinning one day and hot yoga the next, I am going to continue this for the rest of May! Along with eating veggies and protein!! After a week i am already seeing positive results and will now be posting on here every sunday now that i am strong again I encourage every one to do the same!! I am so happy to be back!
I am glad you are back but posting even when you are not doing well will help keep you accountable...;-) at least it works for me...
I love hot yoga but we do not have a studio where I live now....It is great and keeps you really fit (drink lots of water!)...

Its awesome cuz the yoga studio i go to also has spin classes as well!! So i am alternating between spin and hot yoga each day. I am so glad that i decided to join cuz i have never been able to stick to a gym routine!

Is everyone ready for weigh in tomorrow? Haha i almost splurged and had an ice cream bar and then caught myself!! Almost broke down though! So glad i didn't!
@gonnagethim-- glad you're back! It seems you're kind of on and off with your diet/commitment. I'm guessing your goals are too high--115 lbs at 5'7 is underweight! I started a good 5+ pounds heavier than you and now I think I'm 5 lbs lighter because I have a reasonable weight goal, reasonable fitness program, and reasonable calorie consumption. I'm not bragging, I'm no expert, but I think you're setting yourself up for yo-yo dieting
147 this week, been about the same for a week...this is my summer weight...LOL...I generally try to get under 145 but I am happy under 150 right now...In June I will push to lose a bit more...I am still eating a small deficit and ex daily, trying to build muscle now!

What do you guys think? I could really use some advice on how to get started and on how to manage to keep going even with a busy and stressful schedule
Had my wisdom teeth out yesterday and am on a liquid diet for a week and then after that transition to soft food diet. I'm curious to see how much i will loose ( i am terrified of getting dry socket so I'm extra carful), i am going to try and start working out again a week from now.. Any thoughts?
Hey! I'd like to join this. I'm 5' 8" and weigh 139 pounds. I would like to go down to 120. I recently took up ballet, and would love to have the slim, muscular figure of a dancer, so I'm working hard to reach my goal by the end of the summer. Yes, I know my goal is slightly underweight, but it's fine for my body type.
Last year, I weighed 167 pounds, but lost a lot, and managed to keep the weight off. I think it's safe to say that I am not a yoyo dieter. My goal is smaller this year, but it's harder for me to reach because I already eat very healthily and exercise around 3 hours a day. I'm not really sure how I can lose that last 19 pounds in a healthy way. Any tips?
