HOW MANY CALORIES DO YOU EAT A DAY?: way to many but I am trying to bring it down it like 1200-1600

I don't understand the question...my new and improved as of today calorie distribution is 250 for breakfast and lunch with 150 calorie snacks after each, 300 calorie dinner and 200 calorie snack after dinner. But I try not to be so strict so it just depends on the day. These are just estimates of where/about I want to be around. LOL

WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION TO LOSE WEIGHT/BE HEALTHY? I was fat, unhealthy and I repulsed myself and now I want to enjoy looking and feeling good while I can...I missed out on those two things for 5 years and don't ever want to waist my life away like that again.

CURRENT WEIGHT:  197 today

WEIGHT GOAL/TIME:  Oh, I'm flexible.  I'll be what I'll be whenever I get there.  I'm playing a few challenges with loose, optimistic "goals" (185 by September 30, 175 by October 31) I don't really expect to hit.  But you never know.  I definitely don't lose at the same rate all the time... my body adjusts and shifts according to so many things.... my monthly cycle, whatever meds I may be taking (even something as simple as an anti-inflammatory), my exercise level of course, etc. etc.  I'm dropping a lot of weight right now because I've amped up my exercise level and I expect that my body will adjust to that too and it won't keep going this fast.  Plus, I'm sure when I'm not hauling quite as much weight around all day I won't be losing as fast, too.

FAVORITE FOOD?  Right now, grapes.  Whether cold and crisp and juicy and fresh out of the fridge or fermented into a lovely Napa cab or merlot.

HOW MUCH DO YOU EXERCISE A WEEK?  Every day.

WHAT IS YOUR EXERCISE ROUTINE?(IF YOU EXERCISE)  I walk a minimum of 4 miles at a pretty good clip and try to get in at least one 10 mile walk in a week (the 10 mile walk is new).  Plan to incorporate HIIT training daily soon.  Just need to make space in my room for my mini-trampoline (my preferred method).

DO YOU ENJOY RUNNING?  Nope.  Running's public and too much flops around -- plus, it's bad for my joints.

FURTHEST YOU HAVE RUN?  across the house when I saw this really creepy spider.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO LOOSE WEIGHT?:  I hate loose weight.  That's why I don't run.  My weight's too "loose" and flops around in public when I run.  I'd like to LOSE weight because I'm sick of being fat.  The world is not kind to me and I'm not kind to myself so far as my size is concerned.  Sucks.

WHAT DO YOU CNSIDER A HARD WORKOUT?  Pain would be involved.

IF SO WHAT WAS IT?:  On a walk in July, I stepped in a great big hidden hole and fractured my ankle a little bit (thought it was "just a sprain").  It was 5:30 in the morning, my cell phone wasn't with me, and I was over 4 miles from home out in the middle of nowhere.  I hobbled the entire way home and thought I was gonna die.  My ankle was the size of a softball (no lie) when I finally collapsed in the door.  Do not recommend.

HOW MANY CALORIES DO YOU EAT A DAY?:  Somewhere around 1500.  Some days more, some days less.  Highly recommend mixing up the # of calories you eat a day.  I stumbled onto this method by just doing it, but I've since discovered there are entire websites dedicated to it.

WHAT IS YOUR CALORIE DISTRIBUTION?  Lots of fruits and veggies... try to get in a lot of protein... try to limit starchy carbs and fats.  Not religious about this at the moment, but that's the way I roll.

HAVE YOU EVER HAD ANY EATING DISORDERS?: Oh, I'm sure.  I've been a binger for sure.  Never "purged," though I tried in my teens.  Just have a damned strong constitution and it takes six kamikazes, the flu AND changing a litterbox (all elements at once) to make me throw up.

WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION TO LOOSE WEIGHT/BE HEALTHY?  I have no motivation for loose weight.  I'm trying to tighten up.  Because the world is not kind to me when I'm heavy and I'm not kind to myself.  As for the health issue, I LOVE feeling strong and active, but truth to tell - even at my heaviest (which I'm sure was over 250 pounds), I was healthy as a friggin' HORSE.  I know I'm lucky as hayell... but I can't lie and say "Oh, I was so concerned for my health."  My weight wasn't threatening my life, but I wasn't enjoying life a heck of a lot.

IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY CELEBRITYS BODY WHO WOULD IT BE?  I would have Alexander Skarsgard's body.... over and over and over and over.  Oh, that's not how you meant it.  I s'pose Angelina Jolie (when she's not grieving and scrawny).

DO YOU ENJOY RUNNING? I used to - before I was pregnant/had my daughter. Now walking is pretty much the best I do haha.

FURTHEST YOU HAVE RUN? I don't really know because I ran on the treadmill & stared at the calories as opposed to the distance lol. I used to run for about an hour per workout. I was a bit of a gym freak.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO LOOSE WEIGHT?: Vain :-P

IF SO WHAT WAS IT?: Well, when I was 17 I used to goto the gym every night after work that I didnt have college - and a saturday too. And I would go for 3-4 hours. 50/50 cardio & strength training. Then I used to walk a mile uphill home. So every workout was pretty brutal haha. I wasn't trying to lose weight though, just tone up and get pretty fit at the time. It was working and after every work out I pretty much felt high.

HOW MANY CALORIES DO YOU EAT A DAY?:  Depends on the day - having a totally erratic schedule at the moment means that somedays I eat far far too little, and somedays I eat far far too much. I kind of have to even it out over the week. I'd like to think it was evening out at about 1200 a day, but probably more like 1600 haha.

WHAT IS YOUR EXERCISE ROUTINE?(IF YOU EXERCISE) 1 hour on an elliptical-like contraption on some days, 32 minutes of running and 70 minutes of walking on a treadmill on other days.

DO YOU ENJOY RUNNING? I have a love-hate-hate relationship with running.

FURTHEST YOU HAVE RUN? Over 5k.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO LOOSE WEIGHT?: I want to lose weight because I have no excuse not to. Also it makes for a great username.

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER A HARD WORKOUT? The amount of running some of the CCers who have commented on this thread have done. Oof.

IF SO WHAT WAS IT?: I'm a student of archaeology, so my hardest workout would probably be climbing a monstrous hill in Tuscany every morning (sometimes with water canisters in hand) and then digging for the next 8 hours for 6 weeks straight. This is probably why Lara Croft has a bodacious bod.

HOW MANY CALORIES DO YOU EAT A DAY?: It fluctuates depending on my calorie deficit (I eat more when I burn more), but I generally consume 1200-1450 calories daily.

WHAT IS YOUR CALORIE DISTRIBUTION? I eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.

EVER HAD A BINGE? Yes. Empty boxes of Krispy Kremes and hollow bags of Pepperidge Farm cookies can attest to that.

WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION TO LOOSE WEIGHT/BE HEALTHY? I've been at this for a while. I've come too far and worked too hard to slip back into that lifestyle. Whenever I feel lazy or unmotivated, I turn out the lights, tv, computer, whatever, and stare at an analog clock for an whole minute. As I watch each second tick by, I become more aware of (1) how impermanent my time on this earth is, and (2) all of the things I could be doing at that moment besides vegging on the couch and reaching for that next cookie.

IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY CELEBRITY'S BODY WHO WOULD IT BE? My body is my own temple. I don't worship anyone else's.
