You're already at a good weight, I don't think you need to lose any at all. Maybe get toned? We can be work-out buddies instead :)
I'm at 163 or so, hoping to get down to 145 at 5'8. And in the meantime, I'm getting myself more and more fit between running, gardening, and pilates, and biking.
I've only lost 3 lbs so far, but I feel so much better because I've put on a lot of muscle and have really gotten toned. It really makes a huge difference!
Agreed with spinach_spy, you don't need to lose any more weight! Toning and adding muscle will go a long way if you're looking to be leaner and stronger. Sorry to be that voice, I know I hated when I was your age.
I'm 18, 5'6, currently 124lbs and looking to get back down to 116-118 (where my body functions best as I have a muscle/metabolism issue). My plan is to gradually cut out sweets, dairy and red meat (allergies+they're just not that good for you) before focusing on just building muscle. Would either of you like to be like, pilates buddies?
Sounds like a plan. School will be ending for me in just 3 weeks, and once it's over, I plan on going to pilates at least 2x a week, plus yoga and power yoga. This summer, I am really going to get myself in amazing shape!
Wicked :) I'm also on crunch time for school, and then it'll be back to my daily yoga in the sun. Plus pilates now!
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
