So it has been almost 8 months, began January 6th, and today I can proudly say that I have lost over 50 pounds! These last two months have proven slow in the weight loss category, but it has really paid off.

Sorry if I seem arrogant with this post, but I am really really excited. This is exactly how I want to begin grad school and a soon to come marriage.

If you feel guilty by bragging(NOT!), DON'T!! It's called "feeling good about yourself" and it's not a bad thing to do it. I think it re-enforces the good choices we make. I've lost 124 lbs., and I BRAG..........................A LOT!!!!!Wink

Brag on!  You deserve it.

awesome! Congrats!!! I started a little over a month before you, and am less than TWO pounds from having lost 50 pounds!! I had been on a bit of a plateau, but this week I started loosing again! So I am hoping I will get there soon!

Way to Go!!!  I can't wait for my braggin' rights to begin!

Being proud of yourself and stating your accomplishments is not bragging. We, as women, have got to begin allowing ourselves to glory in our successes. You never hear men saying something like "My team didn't want to hurt the feelings of the other team so we tied rather than won the game." Or "I don't want to brag but I got the winning goal." They revel in their wins--and so should you! Congratulations!

Be proud!  You've done an amazing job, you have every right to be proud!

Yay! Congratulations to you for your weight loss triumph and for all these exciting new ventures! I'm starting grad school too, and I'm sure it'll be such a load off (no pun intended) to start on such a high note. Good luck to you on this new chapter in your life! You've clearly earned it.

Great job!  As a PP said this is the place to talk about it.  I know my friends get sick of hearing it fast but this is the place where we all want to hear!

Again Fantastic work!  It is very hard to stick to ones goals and make it life-choice, you should be very proud.
