If I could just make some progress it would give me the motivation to lose this weight. Ugh! I mean - why deprive myself of what I want when I am not making any progress.
I am just venting - but it helps.
I know how you feel, seriously. Saturday and Sunday's are my rest days but I always seem to gain weight (3-4 lbs) in those two days so I work my butt off during the week in order to lose the weight I gained over the weekend just to do it all over again.
My work had a BBQ lunch for it's employees today and I had a burger that bumped my calorie intake up and if I eat more than 1200 calories a day without working out, I actually gain a lb or two. It's 6:30 and if I don't eat anything else for the rest of the night I MIGHT be ok..... I'll probably still bust my butt tomorrow working out to try end this trend.
Exactly - you do good for three days, have one bad meal and you're right back where you started. So frustrating. All I need is to see some progress and I would really get into it.
jillly12: Totally agree!! We're not asking for the world, just for the scale to budge down a little or for our jeans to get a little looser.
Its all about thinking about the overall goal and trying to incorporate good eating strategies into your day. When you are thinking about ways to change gradually, you'll be able to get there. Keep doing research and posting on forums! You will get there :)
you should drink water, at least 8 cups a day! I swear you will lose at least 5 pounds in 3 days I just started really watching my water intake again yesterday morning, and I lost 4, crazy how amazing it works...Also between bites of food take a drink of water it helps space it out and it gives your body time to know that you are getting fuller....:-) don't give up!
