Ok maybe someone can help me here. My husband has deployed. And I am trying to lose weight while he is gone and get back into good health and shape . Since he has been gone I have lost a bit over 10 pounds. Now I do exercise and watch what I eat way more then what I used to. I don't eat fast foods practically ever. Now the scale has been saying I lost weight. And I do take Muay Thai , I know I have. By why does my scale say that my body fat has not change at all? Is there something I am doing wrong? Should I watch my intake of something? Help??

scales that measure body fat are not an extract science, having food and water in you can affect it i see mine chance up and down daily, keeping a journal using measuring tape is more accurate, just be sure to keep it straight as possible and always measure in the same spot.

anosaurusrex.....Is that really you in your profile pic?  It's very disturbing-I hope you're trying to gain weight & not lose anymore!

gee thanks! being called scary skinny hurts just as much as being called fat lol...

So, that is actually a photo of you?   Are you trying to gain weight??

Sorry,  I don't mean to be hurtful or rude, but the way you're posing in your profile pic it seems like you're proud of the way you look...and I find that disturbing.  I really hope you're aware that you're very thin & need to gain weight.

calisue I think that is why her name is Anasourusrex. She has anorexia. That is a pretty serious eating disorder. I have a friend on another site who has that. She thinks it's attractive and how women should look. I'm not sure where she gets that from. I don't think women in magazines are even that thin.

You may want a doctor or nutritionist or gym person to measure your body fat. As said before-water and food can make any scale go up and down

I feel the same way! My body doesn't look like it has changed much (to me) other people SAY I look thinner, but my measurements have barely changed! I am down to 109 lbs but I definitely still have blubber!

OMG! look at your hip bones sticking out! if you don't want to be called scary skinny, then don't post pictures like that.  that is horrible.  You definitely should not be giving advice to anyone.

thanks anosaurusrex and doll eyes i appreciate it. However I just find it odd that it has not change at all. :(

Are you eating enough? I read on here a lot if you are eating too little for your activity you will gain more fat and weight. You are a VERY active person, could you be undereating for your activity?

Your scale measures your body fat percentage, not the amount of body fat you're actually carrying. So your body fat amount could very well have gone down, but since your weight went down as well, the percentage stayed the same.

ambereva that sounds interesting. I did not know that was possible. and @ doll eyes, i am pretty sure i am eating enough for the activities i am doing. i eat anywhere from 1200 to 1600 a day and on a real bad day maybe more lol.

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
