Sorry to crush your dream, but this challenge is somewhere in between "useless" and "dangerous".
Because a diet is not something that you start, and then stop after a month or so. A diet must last your whole life.
If you need to lose weight it means you've been eating too much (or too much junk food) until now. If you don't stop your bad habits after this challenge you won't solve anything. You know why?
Because fat burns calories. A lot of them.
If you lose weight, you will burn less calories and there's nothing you can do about that. Yes you can increase muscles, but that will increase your weight a lot (muscles are three times heavier than fat).
The best, safest and most healthy way to lose weight is to start a diet you can stick with for the rest of your life. That's how I lost over 55 pounds.
And by diet I don't mean "eat as little as you can". It means to eat as much as you need to, in a healthy way. My diet is 2400-2500 calories, for example.
