Calorie Count has a great introduction to strength training, don't worry, you won't end up looking like a female HULK. :-)
If you've never lifted before, I suggest you really focus on form using very light weights and then add weights.
You can also use resistance bands instead of weights for most strength work outs to start, or do body weight exercises. Pushups, squats, etc. I have been told that they make for great fat busters!
Good Diet chart and freehand exercise. Eat vegetables and drink plenty of water.
Consult with a physical trainer for specific belly exercise.
