I noticed something weird. ok i started cc on 11-17-11 ten days later which coincidentally was after my period came, i lost 5 lbs. throughout the month i continue to cc and started working out but did not lose any more, in fact gained 1lb. however, when i weighed myself a couple of days ago which was after i was done with my period, i found that i have lost 3lbs. i weighed myself again this morning and i lost additional 2lbs. can anyone explain to me why my body is doing this?
During your monthly cycle your body weight can fluctuate, this is mostly due to fluid retention, and other biological happenings. The biggest 'gain' is normally when you are getting your period, so it is not strange that the scales show a loss after you have finished. Don't get too stressed over these fluctuations. Weigh yourself once a week, in the same conditions, eg first thing Monday morning after the toilet in the same clothes (or naked/underwear). It sounds like you're still losing overall so don't get disheartened :)
not complaining at all:) all that matters to me is i continue to lose the weight. i just want to understand why my body does that. thanks for you support
are you weighing yourself at the same time everyday? our weight also fluctuates between 1-2 lbs per day depending on the time so if you want accurate measurements you should weight yourself around the same time each time.
