My goal weight is like 120. I'm 5'2 and excise a lot more in the school year so I think that will help! :)

My GW is 95 pounds!  I hate being short.

From where do you think you can lose weight?

I'm around 5'1-2 and my goal weight is 110. I'd like to get to 105 someday but 110 is better :)

Well said! ^

wow someone is gettin all worked up over the internet lol. I am not trying to loose weight and have never said i am. I don't have an eating disorder or body dsymorphia. I eat 1500 ( and that is only because i am not nearly as active as you or any other girl on this site. I sit on my ass all day, a side from gymnastics..)and I know i am thin, at a healthy weight and don't have the weight or muscle to loose. I never said i wasn't thin. I just said that i would like to tone up a bit since i lost so much muscle from a less then healthy change in diet a few months ago.

low blow attacking my spelling like that wow

I have never moaned or even mentioned loosing weight. If anything, the only post i have ever made regarding loosing absolutely anything is  one post on loosing fat on my stomach.

Hot damn, you girls are sensitive. If this site is so damn triggering to your health hun, then i suggest you delete your account or stay away from CC until you are mentally in a better place. The last thing i want to do is trigger you and slow your progress in recovery.

I am not  "weak minded twit". Thank you though for the insult, lovey.

and in CC in general, just because a girl is skinny doesn't mean you all have to **** attack her when she asks any questions regarding being more healthier, toning up or whatever. I ask for advice, not to be lectured on how skinny girls should eat fattening crap and not worry about their health in general.

You didn't have to insult me and you certainly didn't have to get as nearly upset as you seem. I am just saying it seems like you need to worry more about yourself and less about the strangers on CC.

stop worryin about everyone else n start worryin about yourself. CC doesn't need a weight loss police lol

Sadly, it does... This site is full of skinny teenagers undereating and doing their bodies dreadful harm in the long term, and encouraging each other in this ultimately futile endeavour...so, (luckily), there are lots of responsible adults out here who may have made the same stupid mistakes in their childhood and early adulthood, and want to help you guys be healthier than we were, thereby avoiding the price that some of us are now having to pay.

So, police statement:

maintaining a very low weight on 1,500 calories a day at your age is a recipe for osteoporosis, infertility, PCOS, memory problems (worst case senario pre-senile dementia), heart disease, premature ageing and lots, lots more!

... but your young, so you don't care what happens when you're older, right? Just so long as you think you look good today.

For what it's worth, you are probably more active than at least 80% of the women on this site (although that number might be skewed too high, given that I read more posts in fitness and have a higher estimate of people's activity levels than perhaps is realistic, given the number of users who never set 'foot' in the Fitness forum).

Remember that most of us are commuting 30-60min (each way) and sitting chained to a desk for 8-10 hours a day.

The fact that you do gymnastics means that you are not sedentary, so you shouldn't be eating the bare minimum for weight loss for a sedentary teenage girl.

1500 is a weight loss amount for an overweight, sedentary teen female -- which you are far from.

Your gymnastics makes you NOT sedentary, regardless of how you'd like to claim being a slug.

Killing yourself, ruining your body, etc -- those are all your own options, obviously we have no actual control over your diet, your exercise, your inability to see reason.  We do, however, have some control over what stays posted on the site -- and continuing to post encouragement for under-eating, low weight, or other unhealthy activities is clearly against posting guidelines.  Those posts will continue to draw attention (perhaps that's your ultimate goal?) and responses you probably won't like. And then posts and threads get deleted or locked.

Ok you know what. I gained on 1800 calories. When i was gaining weigh up from my LW, i was GAINING on 1800. That was with exercise.  I ate that amount for a good 3 months, gained about 10 lbs from LW to CW. Just because your older then i am and have gone through an ED your self doesn't mean you know my body better then I do. If i found i lost on 1500 (which to be perfectly honest is a rough estimate and doesn't include everything i snack on throughout the day + fruit) i would be eating more.  I don't want to loose weight, and i am perfectly fine/not tired/full of energy while maintaining. I don't understand how you can tell me 1500 calories is unhealthy when i've maintained, haven't lost in weeks, and mentally have been in a better state of mind then i have been in a while.

wow ok whatever u guys say OK pc4

Your posting history and journal entries say otherwise.

And you are 15 - you SHOULD be gaining weight, because you are still growing.

Because that is a fact, whether you like it or not. Gaining as an active teen on 1,800 means your metabolism need revving up a bit, and the only way to do that is to eat more. So, I repeat:

Eating 1,500 as an active, low weight, gymnast, is UNHEALTHY. If starving yourself (which 1,500 amounts to for you) makes you feel 'mentally better' then you need more help than we can provide online, and I would suggest seeing a Specialist.

Getting back to the OP's question...

An average 5' teen probably weighs 95-120lbs. The key is to never restrict, eat well (and plenty of it!), and take up some healthy exercise. Good luck!

Idk what to say to that TBH. I am not happy right now, but I am trying to get there. Things are hard right now and my life revolves around things not related to food but more around my anxiety around people and insecurity about myself in general. I am a lot better then i was four months ago. I am not going to go from where i am to some unbelievably happy girl over night. I am working on it. You can't really say my state of mind hasn't improved when you didn't know me five months ago. It has and every day is it continuing to do so.  Please don't bring up my journal OK. They are personal and the only way i can let go of anger. I don't know how to make them completely private, and is it hard enough on tumblr when you are judged every time you breathe.

OK whatever you say. You are right, I'm wrong w/e I guess i will have to find that out for myself and I will. Thank you for trying to help, but I really just need to figure it out for myself. You can bring the horse to water, but you can't make it drink. I really didn't want to start anything with anyone. Please just end it here ok :))))))) xxoxoxoxo

First -- if they are judging you on TUMBLR, you should get off there -- your health, mental and physical, is more important -- clearly friendship is not on the table, or else the judging wouldn't be happening

Second -- you are letting the girls around you feed your insecurities.  I'm not picking on you and mostly we've all done it (worrying about what other think) -- but you gotta understand those girls suggesting you are fat, are doing it because they know it gets to you.

Third -- you can make your CC journals completely private by changing the pulldown in the "Security" block to private.  If you have no groups set up, they will be seen only by you.  You can set up levels by clicking the settings link right next to the pulldown menu.

Your goal weight is dangerously low, (People have died tryiong to get that thin,) So low I'm not even going to mention the BMI as your post and this quotation box will be deleted shortly anyway

OP; Please take no notice of this before it is deleted, it is unrealistic and damaging to the health.
