People on here seem against eating less than 1500 a day,but my target came out at 1400...

It's because Calorie Count's tools aren't made for teens. You need to use a calculator like this one.
No, you shouldn't be eating less than 1,500. As a matter of fact, you probably need even more than that, depending on how active you are.
Edit: You're also at a healthy weight now, why are you trying to lose 5 pounds? It's possible that you're still growing and will get taller. I don't think now is the time to be attempting weight loss.
