Calories a teen girl needs?1,600 calories or 2,300 calories or somewhere in between?

im a 15 year old 5'7 and 155 lbs girl. im trying to get to 140 within the next 2 months but so far have had no luck. the cc calorie counter given to me was 1300 but as im a teen who works out for an hour on an elliptical at 5.5 mph 6 days a week i know that i need more than that or else my metabolism will be too slow. Problem is is that im not sure how much more i need and how much more would still allow me to get to my goal. about a month ago i started on cc with a limit of 1500 and after 2 weeks i saw no results so i upped it to 2,100 calories a day(on people i know suggestion). but i still noticed no results 2 weeks later and actually had gained around 2-3 pounds. So now im just not sure what i should be eating. i wanted to lose 15 pounds in 2 months but since i wasted a month with no results a now have 2 months. Any suggestions? i really want to get at least some weight off before school starts.

ps. im also taking amitriptallyne for ibs which has a side affect of weight gain(which im sure does not help this goal). any ideas of how to combat it?

Not so sure about the calories but i take amitriptyline as well, but i take it for Rheumatoid arthritis. I am also a teenager an have been taking it for close to a year and have not experienced weight gain.
Ur lucky( i mean not having to take the med but i mean not gaining weight wise). I sadly have experienced weight gain from it:/. When I started taking it I gained around 20 pounds within 2 weeks and I wasn't eating anymore than I had previously was.
Oh wow, that stinks :( i wish i could help more with the calories but i don't want to give you the wrong advice.
Haha no problem. Thanks at least for trying to help:)

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
