Cereal Diet! Works good!

Quote  |  Reply

I started a cereal diet a week ago & drop 8 pounds already! Cup of cereal for breakfast & lunch with 1 cup of skim milk and for dinner eat a reasonable healthy dinner with snacking of fruit all day! I haven't even worked out at all either, I plan on starting that this week!

That sounds like an intensely bad idea to me...

Only follow a 'diet' that you could hold consistently for the rest of your life....you want to make this a life style. Not a crash diet. You'll put the weight back on once you start eating normally.

A healthy breakfast and lunch would be that would lead to weight loss would be...

B: 1 cup of cereal with skim milk, fruit til youre full.

L: turkey sandwich on wheat bread with miracle whip (which is fat free mayo) with vegetables and fruit til full

I'm not hungry, I could do this my whole life. I'm not starving myself what so ever!

I was never hungry on 150 calories a day and I wound up a sickly, horrible mess.

You're going to kill yourself.

that is still subclinical starvation level of calories. CC does not support starvation diets (which you are on).

But I'm not starving. I could understand if I was more active but Ive been too busy to work out. I'm 200+ at 5'8. Believe me, it's not that bad!

Believe me, it is.

If you are over 18, use this to calculate your BMR. That is the number you need to eat to keep your organs from eating themselves. 1,100 is still starving.
