How can I diet without feeling faint?

Quote  |  Reply

I eat well below 1,000 calories per day, but have not lost as much weight as I want to.

For two weeks I tried eating much less than that but felt very dizzy by the end of week one, and had bad headaches and more dizziness the following week. Since I am a runner I needed to start eating more again.

What is a diet that is low-calorie, but will keep me energized enough to make it through the days comfortably?

hey:)

just wanted to tell you that you are eating way less than you should, especially if you're a runner...if you're a teen, you should be eating at least 1600 calories a day (more if you're active) and you will lose weight faster, because right now you're body thinks you're starving yourself and hangs to every bit of food you eat because of that.

If you eat more, you'll also feel more energised and less hungry. Hope it helped, good luck:)

Are you serious?

You actually think eating less than 1,000 calories is a good idea? And then you wonder why you feel faint and weak and dizzy?

Let me help you with that one -

EAT MORE

I am willing to bet my entire net worth that if you double the amt. of calories you eat your symptoms will disappear.

Eat more you will lose weight.

Please eat more!  You are damaging you metabolism and your body with this crazy low cal dieting :(  Eat an appropriate amount of cals, exercise and the weight will come off.  It may take a little longer but it will be in a healthy manner and won't screw up your long term health!

You are eating way to less. I'm eating around 1200 calories a day with exercise and I've lost 2 pounds this week. It's all about balancing exercise and food - you cant harm your body by not eating the right amount of food it needs.

Hope this helped :)

If I eat more I am going to gain weight, what I am asking for are foods that are as low-calorie as I am used to, but will make me feel full enough that I don't feel dizzy.

I'm going to assume you're trolling; if you are not trolling you're beyond help.

you are slowly killing yourself. you feel faint because your brain isn't getting enough energy to work properly. Your body is going to start eating it's organs and you are going to start losing your hair. Your body will first eat the muscle you have because your body will want to keep the fat stores for later as it thinks you are facing famine. BECAUSE YOU ARE STARVING YOURSELF. you need to stop no, go talk to a doctor and get into treatment for anorexia. I know you don't think you are anorexic but you will still need the same treatment. What is your current age height a weight because as a runner you are probably already at a healthy BMI and thus should aim for a deficit of 500 calories a day maximum, and NEVER eat below your BMR EVER

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
