Am I Light or Moderate Activity?
Really unsure....I am in track (long-distance) 6 days a week. We run 2-5 miles, usually around 3-4, along with some other exercises. 2-5 miles doesn't seem like much, but it's 6 days a week....I don't want to overcalculate my BMR. Am I light or moderate? THANKS!
P.S. I'm 16, 5'7, in the 150's looking to lose 20+ pounds.
i'd say moderate!:3 p.s. i think you'd look fine at 130 pounds, there's no need to lose any more than that!
okay thanks! Yeah I'd probably be good with 130, but you never know :p :)
It depends on what you do with the rest of your day. If you come home from track and sit on the computer for the rest of the day, you'd probably be lightly active. If you run around town shopping, dancing with friends, doing housework, or cycling from place to place, you'd be considered moderate-high activity.

ummmm, I'm in school 8-3. Then from 3-4:30 I'm in track. then I come home & do homework. I guess you're saying light activity?
I'm not sure what calculator you're using, but I just want to make sure you know NOT to use the CC calculator because you're 16. Because you're a teen, you will need more calories at whatever activity level you are than someone in their 30s at the same level.
What you eat can have a direct effect on your skin if you're struggling with psoriasis. See what to shop for.
