I'm 18 years old. I had been going to the gym 3-5 times a week before I moved for college and actually started seeing results. I began jogging, which I've never been able to do. After moving I've gained ten pounds. =/ I live with my grandparents and they're always tempting me to eat all this garbage that I've finally been able to cut out of my diet. They know I am trying to be healthier, but that doesn't stop them from offering. My weight gain is rather depressing me at the moment. I've been trying to go out biking for 30-45 minutes a day... and might try doing tennis with my grandfather, though I suck and wouldn't really describe what we do on the court as tennis. (I don't know anyone else here to "play" tennis with. >>....<<)) That's the only exercise I'll be able to get until I can get a gym membership. -sigh- As of now I'm getting about 1400-1600 calories a day. Before I moved I got about 1300.

I just don't feel like I'm doing enough, especially with the weight gain. Any advice?

Even though you can't go to the gym get up early and go out for a jog, it's a great way to start your day and will give you energy. As far as being tempted goes just tell your grandparents that you have worked really hard to stop eating that stuff and you would like there help and support :)
