I weigh between 165-170lbs
Goal: 135lbs (130 at the lowest)
I would like to reach this goal by my dance competitions in March

I have been struggling with my weight so much recently thanks to college ha and I have never really had to worry about it before so it has been tough. I would love a buddy to help stay motivated!

goal weight: I think I could get down to 155 or so, but my goal for now is 179. I think it's healthy to set realistic and attainable goals, as opposed to obsessing over some sort fantasy number.

I gave myself a year to lose the last 20-25lbs, as it took me a year to lose 30. My start weight was 181! But given what a roll I'm on lately, I say that it will probably take only until Jan-Feb. I work out 3-4x a week doing cardio and weight training. Would love to find another college student who is also lifting weights
I've already lost all of the weight i wanted to lose, but i really want to help people get what they've wanted. I went from 5'4 and 117 lbs, to being 5'5 (i grew) and 100 lbs. I have a small frame and am 14 years old. Weight loss took place over 2.5 months and I averaged around 2 lbs a week loss.

Looking for someone willing to talk about an eating disorder? i don't like people who yell at me, but more sympathize and reason.
I grew an inch, so i'm 5 ft 8 in and as of yesterday back down to 100 lbs. i'm up to 1200 cals which is better than before but i've got a ways to go.

Want to get to a healthier weight but I end up getting disheartened half way through and just wing it without thinking about what I'm doing or not doing.
Like I first started this in June and lost 10lbs quite fast, I've kept that weight off (good thing about me is I remain a constant weight easily) but I haven't lost anymore. So I'm back on this again now and hopefully will stick with it.
And I want to get to a weight were I'm healthy, but I also wanna feel and look good too and be fitter.
So I'm hoping that if I got a buddy I might be more inclined to keep on track.

Weight: 60kg (132 pounds, I fluctuate quite a bit)
Height: 175cm (5'8"ish I think)
Goal: Mostly maintain and tone up a bit, but I wouldn't mind if I lost a couple of kilograms as we have our school formal (same as a prom) in two months :) I've also just stopped taking the pill which made it really hard for me to lose weight as it made me crave food all the time. Also made me feel depressed a lot of the time, which meant I resorted to eating to make me feel better.
Would definitely be nice to find someone with similar goals or someone who has gone through the same experience with the pill.

I have joined the gym for the first time at the start of september mainly to become fitter but also to tone up and lose a few pounds. My uncle passed away last summer aged 51 after having a heart attack and drowning - it changed my perspective on life and also prompted me to get a check up at the doctors as my uncle did not know he had heart problems, ate healthily, was very skinny but smoked a lot. It turned out that heart problems run in the family and I was diagnosed with familial hypercholesterolemia....high cholesterol that runs in the family - controlled by meds, as even a healthy diet won't make a difference.
This kicked me into action and this year, after his anniversary I decided that I need to join a gym - as I drive everywhere these days so don't walk as often as I used to. I've enjoyed using the gym so far and the best part is how much fitter and alert I feel. I am also on the pill and have been for 6 years as being on it is the only thing that stops vomiting etc. during my period. I'm not using it for contraceptive reasons at all and I think being on it for so long has a lot to do with why I put on a bit of extra weight as I used to be much slimmer before being on the pill. Having said that it is a life saver and it means I can enjoy work etc. without having to take days off sick. It also helped when I was taking exams etc.
My problem is snacking...so this week I am cutting out snacks all together, I hope that I see a change on the scale by next week =)
