Hey, I think it was pretty successful and, to be honest, I liked almost everybody that was involved.
(Kidding!)
Same dilly - For those of us in the current four week count down, post your final weight there, and then copy and paste it here... as it will be the starting weight here!
Morning Weigh ins on May 12th, and then every Thursday and Monday from then on!
(I'm actually pretty glad to do this - I'm going to Hawaii on June 12th, so I'd love a reason to keep driving to my goal weight before I get on that plane.)

Just weighed myself...same as Monday, 127 lbs.
Passed on the brownies and cookies at work. Why do they routinely bring the same junk food in?
Marmel--it's probably muscle. Do you notice your clothing fitting better and your flabby areas getting firmer? (Not calling you flabby though.)
Ladyashleigh--hope your final went well and congrats on the weight loss.

Man do I hate weighing in on days like this

I've been doing everything right. Lots of cardio, cals around 1400-1600. It is just so painful to watch the scale climb back up!
I'm hoping it has something to do with 'womanly issues' but I've never blamed that before. Ug. And this weekend the bf and I are going to Montreal (where he's from) to get the tour from his father of every fattening restaurant they ever ate at. Luckily I am lactose intolerant (HA! I never thought I'd say that) and can't be forced to eat the fried cheese delicacy I keep hearing about.
Hmm... not looking forward to weigh in on monday.
well no loss, but no gain 202. So here to better luck on Monday:)

I hate weigh ins like that too...and I'm right there with you...up to 124. Poops! *heavy sigh* Seems like a lot of us struggled this week. Things will get better next week!!

Don't be afraid or discouraged! We're all in this together. In the first forum, I knew that I would gain weight after having a day out at the ballpark the day before weigh in and I did gain 2 lbs. But you weigh in and move on. Missing the weigh in isn't going to make it any better and won't give you any perspective for the Monday weigh-in. Go for it!

Okay I did it...I weighed yesterday and tried to contain the impending MI by assuring self that it cant possibly be real weight gain since Monday!

Why am I not hungry?
Today: I have eaten 860 calories and had to force that, but worked out for an hour in the AM.
Zero appetite, which is bizarre.
What's up with that?
Okay, so the day ended with me adding another 600 or so calories to the mix, but it was still bizarre.
The only thing I can think of is that I did that swig of Apple Vinegar Cider before my meal, and that kicked my appetite down a notch.
I'm not trying to eat too little tho... and I may have today. Tomorrow, bigger breakfast, for sure. Plus, I'm at Disneyland, so I doubt I'm going to have the same nutritional luck that I had today.
HA! Just bid and won a Wiifit. Workout motivation for my non gym days!

anyways, yesterday I was 128. so no gain no loss...same still
UMM so wow how discouraging, the scale is going up. Grrrr. I think it might just be water weight considering I haven't been drinking much of it lately, thus making me bloated? I dunno though! My summer job is making me unhealthy I think; even though it's hours of literally running around and lifting stuff, I always feel fat when I get off my shift. I think it's from feeling bloated because I don't drink enough water during my 8 hr shifts? Probably it. Also, I'm always to tired after going to work that I don't have the strength to go to the gym as often as I'd like. Can my job really make me fat????

I don't know. Honestly,t he weight fluctuates during the day. I wonder, can it fluctuate during the month?
I went up as well, and there was no good reason.
The flip is, I got SUPER aggressive. I also went up the day after I went to a Lakers game, so in the back of my head, even though I had kept the cals down to 1600 to 1900, I was wondering if that cursed Super Pretzel had doomed me.
Yesterday: Much better, even though I was at Disneyland.
I had fruit all day, with the exception of one of them little cereal bowls, although at night, my wife and I managed to get into the "Club with a full bar" and there was a good half pound of red meat.
We'll see.
I feel as though I've been holding the line, but who knows? I could be up again. And if I am, I'll be here... whining about it. :)

Could be that you need to eat more. As you get closer to your goal, it will be harder to lose those last pounds. My nutritionist buddy was telling me to start adding 200 - 300 calories to my diet as I get closer to my goal. If you are only eating 1600 - 1900 calories a day, and you are doing workouts at all, then you are undereating.

A Swig huh, you didn't mix it. 6oz to 8oz of water and 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey. You didn't mix it like that. Well, I think I am going to try a swig, but Sunday-Monday is always my low calories intake days.. When I get done with the weekend trying to have pizza all veggie me, and meat for the kids with very little veggies.. It takes me a few days to snap back on eating a lot, but I have notice I do eat less after I take the mixture before my meal. HUMMM. I'm going to have to give that swig thing a try this weekend. But I'm going to stay with my mixture during the week. I notice my joints don't hurt as much after I have it.
hmm I think weight CAN fluctuate during the month, just like it does during the day. Usually my weight fluctuates throughout the month, but STILL it's so annoying! I was plateaued for 6 weeks at 152/153, now I'm plateaued at 146ish and have been for the past 5 weeks. GRR GRR GRRRRR!!! I bounce between 145 and 149, SO annoying!

Try breaking a 4 month plateau with no weight fluctuating. Dec 07-Feb. 08. I was catching all kind of hell. I got past it once all the special days was out of the way. I changed up my program cal-intake, and added 80-100 grams of protein, and then went into another workout program. 30/30/30. 30 mins of cardio and 30 mins of yoga or pilates, and 30 mins of weight traing. 3 days a week. My old program of 40mins of cardio, and 20 mins of weight training wasn't cutting it... Shake it up a little, and see what happens.

yay! I never thought I'd see less than 140, has only taken since January...
Anyways, I think it was mostly water weight, as I usually pile it on just before my womanly week... that and exam stress... but hey I ain't complaining! I decided to destress by going on my rower for half an hour as there was no time for the gym...
My measurements haven't changed much though. I haven't much to lose, so I figured it must be my muscles filling the space where my fat used to be lol Anybody else have this 'problem'?

Happy Monday! Big cheat day yesterday. That chocolate cake to top if all off was worth it! Got to treat yourself every so often.
Last Thursday, I weighed in at 200.8 and my current weight is 201.4. I usually level off between Thursday and Monday anyways, so this was expected. I'm hoping to hit under 200 on Thursday!

Hi everyone.. Good weigh in for me this morning, and good news on top of that.
This whole weekend had no room for cheating. I'm on a mission, and I got to my weekend hit target to lose 2 pounds.. LOL.. I did it!
Past weight. Monday-12 and Thursday-15 166lbs
Todays weight. Monday-19 164lbs
Turkey was the meat for the weekend...
A lot of fruits and veggies was on the plan as well. I grilled.
I walked 4 miles sunday morning.. Just to jump my program early this week.
I feel freaking great.. Now let's just see what I do on Thursday.
